  1. I am going to be selling a pair of raw indigo Dukes in size 30 for $160US (extra $15US for outside of the United States) and just letting you know. They've had about four days into them. Just letting ya'll know before I put them on the supermarket. If you want them, PM me and I can get pictures or whatever.

I sold these if you were wondering. They're gone!

  2. Samurai did not mess up. Once again, ours all have a regular A. Go ahead and don't believe me. The original limited edition S0500XX is the only of the model that had it upside down. Then they realized that everyone wanted the dungarees so they made more.

  3. does anyone know how to blog to their own profile? mine just goes to all of them...

I spelled your name "polly" on the main page link. My bad. I'll fix it when I get home today. I did it all by hand so I'm sure there is a lot fo little things like misspellings going on :) Thanks for pointing it out.

  4. If anyone can photoshop/create a "jeans rack" image of 30 jeans in the same vein as "2000db's friend" then we can use it with a clear conscience based on imitation of a "site idea" which was shown to us but never finished. I can split it and code the page just fine, I'm just pretty lousy creating real-looking images from pieces. And it could even have Samurai tags instead of Denime.

  5. cant the startpage be fixed...

the denim rack disappears when the cursor runs over a pair of jeans..

I hope it can be fixed, but I am guessing you're running Internet Explorer 6.0 or older. Internet Explorer 6.0 was released in 2001 and no real changes have been made to the core rendering engine of it. I would suggest:

    1) Use Firefox.

    2) Use Opera.

    3) Upgrade your Internet Explorer to 7.0

    4) Don't sweat it. It still works, just a little glitchy.

I do understand that hoardes of people aren't going to understand this or have the ability to even install software or capacity to do it, so it will be fixed somehow. It just isn't a pressing issue, but thanks for the feedback.

i guess you're starting with safari, because it seems to work fine with it. but just fyi (and not trying to overload you with problems), the bottom row of the denim rack doesn't show up in firefox.

Weird, I will PM you about it. It seems to work fine for me on Firefox 1.5.0.8 and 2.0 on the latest Mac OS X and Windows XP service pack.

  6. here is my hack of denimcontest.com: www.clarksvegas.com/denim

I have all the users logins and passwords entered, but I don't want to start getting people on it without it being "official." Anyways, check it out. I used 2000db's friend's design totally stolen. I'll give him credit where credit is due. I don't want any donations, but you're more than welcome to send him some for the design work.

I redesigned the user page template and currenlty working on a way to have a "profile" type thing at the top like denimcontest.com with First/Second Wash, Wear Frequency, etc but that's all I have to do. Logins, posts, and uploading pictures is working wonderfully.

  7. I am going to _work_ on it. I haven't done anything yet.

And here's something bad that comes along with it. Since I am in the contest and if I make/create/have control of the website that could be a bad thing. I would have to be trusted by everyone that I wouldn't rig the voting if it's on this site and whatnot. I mean, I can be trusted but do ya'll wanna trust me?

  8. I don't know, man. The "Unwashed" and "Shrink To Fit" in the product description throws me for a loop. I was just saying... I thought the 1-series Studio D'artisan denim was only sold in jeans in an unwashed state and maybe Bears was self-laundering them. Does anyone know anything anything factual about this?

  9. Looks like our boy never got around to finishing for us. He must be in Japan chilling now and not coding the website.

    1) We can continue to wait for him and hope that one day he lives up to his promises at a later date. I mean, it's only been a little over a month.

    2) We can take matters in to our own hands.

    3) We can accept the fact that this will forever be our website. Optional crying is involved.
