The Sigma 30mm f1.4 is a bit tricky. With the 40D you can't do lens by lens micro-adjustments for sharpness like the 50D so in that regard, unless you can try it out before buying or there's a return policy I'd keep that in mind.

I'm about a true US size 9.5 and I wear a US size 9 in ML2s.

The lady doing the interview is Diane Pernet (http://www.ashadedviewonfashion.com/)
Once a fashion designer back in the 80s/90s?

Good looks, I was about to order an Access Card and this place is cheaper than Amazon but unfortunately it doesn't have the B66 I want as well.

so my question is.... Canon s90 or Panasonic LX3? which would you buy?
From the thread the LX3 for sale comes with the following:
- 2 gig of memory card
- 2 lens, telephoto and wide angle
- 3 filters UV, FLUORESCENT and POLARIZER
- 2 lens adaptors for 52mm
- 1 NEW TTL AF DIGITAL FLASH
I would have to buy a memory card and what not for the s90, so the s90 will end up being a little more expensive.
I hate the handling of the LX-3. Ergonomics/size of the S90 are much better in my opinion.
That rotating bezel around the barrel is pretty convenient.
I would say quality images between the two are negligible.
size = Canon S90
options (accessories) = LX-3
zoom = Canon S90
ergonomics/controls = preference

I think that china as a nation is at a crossroads in quality of manufacturing. The issue is that the brand equity of the nation is still low. As they have a non uniform baseline of quality. Made in Japan used to elicit the same response that made in China does today. The issue is not simply whether something was made in China, but where in the nation state it was produced and under what quality control scheme.
D.
Agreed, in addition to the fact there are more and more joint ventures between Chinese and Japanese companies which combines the best of both worlds.

been looking at dis outlier jawn
seems to be similar or better than goretex, but i haven't any experience with their tech materials, anyone?
I have a pair of Outlier pants and they're pretty solid. The stretch is a necessity given the slimness of the pants and it doesn't hamper everyday movements.
3XDRY will fade as moykky mentioned and I don't think that it can be restored via the GORE-TEX method of throwing your piece in the dryer. But then again, I think most people on this board are accustomed to not really washing their pants that often.

Are the MMM leather shoes worth it? Cost about 355 Euros on Oki -Ni, Kinda wanna get it
You're paying for the design of the upper and the brand name obviously. The tooling is over 30 years old and from adidas...

Also, can anyone comment on the sizing of the Japanese Danners they stock at the factory store in Portland? Are those marked as UK size? I spoke to someone on the phone who said they run true, but I think I've heard otherwise, and that they are a full size big.
I wear in a size US 9 in Mountain Light IIs (DJ version). My sneaker size is a US 10. I wear a US 9 in Red Wing Moc-Toes as well.

I am waiting on a phone that replicates the interface of Gmail's desktop experience on a phone with Superstars/Labeling etc.
But I too have thought about this, moving from a Nokia E71 to a Blackberry or Android.

Ever since I was a kid and seeing my first Swiss Army, Everday Carry shit fascinated me yet I didn't know it ever got as organized and classified as "EDC"... can't believe it took this long haha.
I've been looking at multi-tools and most notably the SOG PowerAssist B66 in Black Oxide... anything else to consider? There seems to be good reviews of the Victorinox Spirit S.

David Z. just gets an early release to the Burgundy joints I believe, they will be more widely available afterwards.

Is it a branded outsole they use for the Fracaps?

But they'll be pretty hard to get, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Wow... Pudz in MMA... that's a surprise to say the least.
I wouldn't say Pudz is as bad as D-list but there was talk of him juicing before when he was in strongman?

Thought about it... but I'd prefer a better strap (ie with a toggle) than a grip.

I really don't think that North Korea will be as big of a push-over as some will assume.

Do you shoot primarily in Auto with your DSLR? If you know how to use a DSLR beyond the basic controls, I think you'll appreciate the S90.

supposedly aguero is going to chelsea in january for 100 million? don't know how much i believe soccernet but i definitely wouldn't put it beyond chelsea.
It's a 100 million dollar deal, not transfer fee.
It's basically worth up to that amount but I think transfer has gone from like 60/65 million to 50 and now hopefully stop at 40 million... but throw in wages and endorsements to get to 100.

Maybe some of you who know your stuff can help me out (I don't know too much about cameras).
I have a G10 that I love, but the size is def a little too big for me.
Can you tell me what I'd lose by switching to the S90?
Check this link: http://dpinterface.com/camera-reviews/features-comparison-canon-powershot-g11-powershot-g10-powershot-s90/
Has what you're looking for... nothing notable in my books. Weird move by Canon.

Malton is wider than the Stow.
I have pretty much the same foot sizes as you and I would say get a UK size 9.
