  1. I've tried posting this question in the small questions thread with no response so I thought I'd make a new thread about it for anyone else who cares too. Anyways, as most people know, several brands are notorious for their jeans developing crotch holes. I was wondering if anyone has taken preventive measures to reinforce their crotch before wearing them. If so, how did you do it? If not, would it even work?

  2. Well, if they say they produce it, I don't know. All I know is two other members also believed it to be a TANNER belt. And a member who is a representative of TANNER posted this thread. http://www.superfuture.com/supertalk/showthread.php?t=18752 which the hecklewood belt looks identical to. Also their website is incorrectly labled if it really is produced by hecklewood. And finally, TANNER also calls their belt the "standard" belt. But then again... why would hecklewood lie to you, right? I believe hecklewood is simply the main provider of TANNER products since siznam plugged them in another post about their wallets.

  3. How did you come to the conclusion that Hecklewood makes the belts? It says right at the bottom of the belt page in between the description and the sizing drop down menu that it is designed and produced by Tanner. I don't comprehend. I'm not one to be mean but that doesn't make sense. And I agree, Samm probably wouldn't last long on Superdenim.

  4. That site was pretty sweet. I'm definitely going to have to check out my local store and see if they carry the belt I want there. If I got the snapless belt I don't really understand how to go about adding the snaps and punching the holes to fasten the buckle.

  5. Geez, I don't remember so many haters back when I joined. Some of you guys need to take a chill pill. Let him wear the jeans. Yeah, most of the time they end up shitty but I have seen two of three pairs that faded pretty damn well. And several people including myself can say their jeans faded pretty well. Not everyone has the privileged of starting with APC's or Nudies, or even Flatheads and Samurai's. Quite frankly, I've seen a lot of people cough up hundreds never to be heard of from again, or with less than stunning deep contrasting fades.

  6. Four of us :D My girlfriends' been looking for a pair of jeans (crotch holes.. not the good kind). And although I've been looking for a pair of Sugar Canes, I'm not super fond of the Union Stars over their other stuff. The jacket is mighty tempting though.

  7. First time posting a picture so I hope this works... These are my 501 STF's after about maybe 1 years worth of wear and 3 washes I believe. The lights look a lot brighter in person but I'm somewhat satisfied with them considering they're cheap STF's.

Sorry for the shitty cropping. This pic was originally intended for something else hence not even showing the bottom cuff.

  8. I've got to say I like Hanes Boxers too. And they last longer than Boxers I've paid twice as much for. Does anyone have any experience with 2(x)ist? It's pretty expensive but I was thinking to trying them out. The also have pima for the original poster.

  9. In case anyone cares.. H&M in SF does have 3 pairs of raw denim "Sliq" which are straight leg and skinny, "Original" which are straight leg and regular, and "&Now" which are skinny and tapered. All $39.99.

  10. Yeah, I don't know. Mine look black. I suppose I'll try to take a picture sometime. I got size 28 but the H&M in SF doesn't carry 28 anymore... at least for the moment. 29 is the smallest in any of the raw fits. Maybe the ones I got are odd ones. And you all got them in SF? Because to me they all look black and the size 28's measured to about a 30.5 before soaking.

  11. I don't understsand why mine look completely black. They've never looked blue under any light and I know I got the raws because a ton of indigo came out when I soaked them and they have the sticker that warns of 2-5% shrinkage or whatever. I see them in SF all the time and they all look black too. For those that care, they also have one or two new fits in raw. They have a denim jacket that warns of indigo loss and talks a little bit about fading but I noticed they all have tiny wear marks around edges like a one wash.

And to Flock, they're all about $40.

  12. Started doing the Money clip and ID pass case thing since Christmas because my previous wallet was a kids wallet I got from Disneyland (which surprisingly got a lot of compliments). Both in British Tan. I'm very happy with them but sometimes the money clip does get in the way when I'm wearing my H&M Sliq's and sitting down. Occasionally I just take it out of my pocket if I'm sitting or if I know I'm going to be running.

  13. Does anyone know where I can get high resolution pictures of the back pocket paper tag on 47, 55, & 66 models. If anyone knows of any websites, stores I could contact, or could do it themselves that would be great.
