kiya, those shirt sizes look generous for a Japanese brand. Can you confirm?

cheers

I'd be interested in these once / if the rise is made much more 'classic'.
I kinda liked the other rivet style, and the striped pocket bags, but just my opinion.
Loving the broken twill, and they would be my first pair of 100% American jeans .... Wow, that's kind of sad to say on a "jeans forum".

Hi Bill,
Those 'purist' jeans look spot on.
Denim looks great -
my only comment is how come the rise seems very low (10 inches) for a jeans model which is intended to be a true repro... Surely a higher rise is required?
and why vanity sizing on the waist?
looking forward to seeing a website with the full model line-up

I have two pairs of Sugar Cane, same style
I'd have another pair LVC 55 if I could still get my size.

When can we see proper pics of these?
Also, small point but is it possible in addition to also see these worn on someone with a "larger" build?
By larger, I mean like a 34, and not the typical SuFu 28 inch waisters.
It's sometimes hard to tell for me how your collabs fit, cos they always tend to be modelled on very, very slim build lads who downsize on their jeans anyway.
Not a criticism, just an observation / feedback.
That said I thought the Cotton Duck photoshoot was spot on.

Magnetic... Oh my God
Those look amazing.
I have been having sleepless nights about these, ever since I first saw them.
I pleaded with Kiya to get me a longer leg for a pair of my own, but it's just not possible with IronHeart.
I need to live vicariously through someone else who has bought these.

I don't think there is an answer to my original question, but anyway lets discuss cool sawtooth / repro shirts, if not!

Hi guys,
thanks for the responses.
I tried the fantastic blue bell shirt, as shown here, unfortunately even that was a bit short. Actually that was a prewashed model I bought, so maybe the raw will be a bit better.
I reckon I need a sleeve around 28-29".

Hi guys,
I'm looking to buy a repro style sawtooth denim shirt. Good quality of course.
At 6-5, I got long arms so I think that rules out Japanese brands (??)
An LVC one would be great, but even those seem a bit teensy-weensy on the lengths.
Any brand suggestions appreciated. cheers
P.S. Sawtooth shirt means jagged pocket flap.

After my trip to Japan, I have to say I was dissapointed with Evisu.
I went to the flagship Tokyo store (Evisu the TAILOR) I asked if I could get some 'bespoke' made jeans... (due to inseam length on Evisus)
No.
Why use the word 'tailor' then???
Frustrating.

Giles is £195 for the selvedge jeans.
Kiya charges 300 US with free worldwide shipping. 300 US = £150
For UK buyers, Giles works out fifty quid dearer.
That is quite a significant difference, IMO

I also got the email
21oz is ironheart's signature... So why go lower? (Just my opinion)
I'd like to see a 55 style cut.
The only problem with IronHeart UK is it seems more expensive than Selfedge? (even for UK based people)

Is that the Sugar Cane collab you are wearing Kiya?

Have to say, the chambray shirt looks great.
Pleased to see they got an XXL size with generous long sleeve length, so it's on my wish list of items.
Great work Mister Freedom!

Sod it. I'm gonna try and get those blacks.
Kiya - do you have any of the superblacks in a much longer leg like all your other collabos?
(For me necessity,not fashion.)

DAMN
Those super black jeans and jacket look good.
Pitty everything IronHeart is always lowrise, slim fit.
Can't wait til 'normal guy' style jeans come back in fashion.
