Looking for a good quality dark grey / charcoal (e.g. faded black) jeans... any brand suggestions?
Would like a pair of Acne's, my problem is I need a 36+ inseam.
- Not bothered about them being selvedge.
- Don't have time to break a pair of Japanese black denims in.
- Dont want logos on pockets. Dont really want a tab either.
Thoughts?
thanks in advance!

Hi there, long time no post.
Is anyone on SuFu offering a reliable proxy shipping service, where I can get a product sent on to me, if I ship it to their home address first?
Its from a retailer which wont ship to the UK, so looking for a Canada ideally based (or US) based SuFu-er with a good reputation and feedback for offering this service.
cheers

hey guys
had a pair of special order Iron Hearts made by Giles for me.
http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/5/7/4/2/4/2/webimg/444711391_o.jpg
They are the superblacks and I got them custom made in a size 34 x 38.
They are zip fly.
I had them taken in by a tailor as they were too big on the waist for me, so they now measure 34 exactly (I dont know why but they were originally more like a 36)
Anyways... decided to sell as they are just too hardcore for me! (Too heavy / thick)
The jeans have been about 10 times, washed twice, never tumbled dried and they are immaculate condition.
The jeans measure 34 x 38.
One thing to note is that the jeans have a small hole near the waistband at the back, about the width of a small knitting needle, or maybe one of those bamboo sticks you use for a BBQ. (I think this is due to how the tailor took them in)
This is not particularly noticeable, but if you're a perfectionist, these probably arent for you.
Think I originally paid about £160 or £170 due to them being a custom order.
£100 all in for a uk buyer?

Jut got some custom made Iron Hearts from Giles (Ironheart UK) and was really pleased with them.
Needed an extra long inseam, admittedly it did take a fair while for them to arrive, but the fact this service is available to those with a longer inseam at not much extra cost cancels the wait out IMO.
So I definitely recommend that service for anyone needing 36+ inseams.
One note though, the superblack denim stretches more easily than I'd thought it would, so something to bear in mind. (Kiya's website said they run small, I did not find this to be the case to be honest)
Might get a jacket in longer sleeves one day when cash is available.

Ordered my custom length superblacks from Giles a while back, nearly ready apparently, waiting patiently!!

EDWIN GREENVILLE - 36 x 36 - NWT - Selvedge
Brand new with tags, bought several years ago, never worn as they have always simply been too big on the waist for me.
Brand new with tags, happy to post pics for anyone genuinely interested.
Not sure if the Greenville style is made anymore? But it's similar to a levis 1955 but with tapered leg.
£110 before postage.

has anyone got the superblacks with the zip?
I am close to ordering the custom length, but the button up style is no longer possible .
Don't really like a zip on expensive jeans, as it changes the way they fade / (or doesn't fade)...

thanks dude.
confirmed they're not too slim fit.

In response to an earlier question - they do shrink a bit.
I had the white hair on hide model, can't remember the number and the inseam lost about an inch.
PS. got some Lee bits on ebay at the moment, new, no reserve, see my signature.

Both are new and unworn.
Small
Both on ebay for 1 cent no reserve, so thought I'd give the heads up here!

are the standard superblacks 'low rise' ?
can't wait til mid rise comes back in to fashion as the "standard".

^^^ that's pretty cool..
He PMd me info about the service.
To be fair to them, I guess it's the Yen > Pound scenario that is making them comparatively expensive.
I was quoted £200 for the superblacks.
At the moment I don't feel comfortable paying above £150 max for jeans, but that's my issue.
Perhaps when the yen falls I will re-look at them.

has anyone tried the made to measure service yet on the jeans through Giles, UK?
wish you could just do it through a Japan retailer as it would work out so much cheaper.

FS: NEIL BARRETT PALLADIUM BOOTS - UK 12 - EU 47
in supermarket
Posted
These are the Neil Barrett boot collaboration with Palladium, in very limited numbers and even fewer size UK 12s.
Got them last year from Harvey Nichols, wore them about 3 - 5 times.
Originally cost £250, selling for £90 (plus postage. UK and Eu will be cheapest, Asia and America a bit dearer).
Moving house soon so having a big clear out of things I don't wear regularly.
YES, I CAN SEND WORLDWIDE, NO PROBLEM!
