Is it possible to avoid the bulging knee/twisted leg problem with the cheap 501xx's? The same problems have happened on two pairs for me and I am buying a third pair soon.

The bulging knee problem is the curse of dry denim...it happens with the higher end denim as well.
  2. I thought that this look comes from washing as well. I came to that conclusion the other day after noticing that my shrink to fits DID NOT have this crumpled pattern. I noticed that a guy in front of me at Arby's had a pair of 501xx's (Old Logger looking guy) and his were well worn and had that crumpled pattern. I figured it just came from washing.

Thank you. I'm getting so damn tired of the letters "S" "T" and "F". Go to the goddamned store and try them on. This is not rocket science.
  4. WOW! HUGE ERROR, THESE ARE MY YOSHI SX'S NOT MY TOKYOS, MY APOLOGIES FOR THE TYPO

Not a proud Moment for me.

I'm selling my Edwin Tokyo SX's. I bought them brand new with tags and have tried to wear them only once. They're just not cut for me. They're a straight leg cut, prewashed and sanforized (this means they won't shrink AT ALL). I love the wash and everything about the denim, these are full redline selvage but they're a bit larger around the thighs and such for me.

They'd be a great pair of premium denim for anybody that doesn't like they're denim SUPER tight.

Edwin is a quality Japanese brand with great credibility. If you're looking for a solid pair of selvage jeans these will work great.

    Actual Measurements are as follows:

    Waist: 28.5"

    Inseam: 32.5"

    Leg Opening: 8.5"

Asking $65 Shipped or just PM me and make me an offer.

Lots of Pics to Answer any Questions:

That selvedge does look a little funky, but the idea of having premium 501s that are rigid is something I have wondered about for a long time. If these are legit i would definitely buy them. I have wondered why Levis hasn't made basically the same jean as the typical 501 stf, but with better denim (aside of course from the LVC). Get back to the basics, but with nice denim. I like the skinners, but they need a more democratic fitting jean that has nice denim that will appeal to a lot of people and have a decent price tag on them.

    AGREED.
  6. Yes, it is generally more difficult to get solid detailing on a pair of baggier jeans. Just think about the logic there. Tight pants crease tons more in the tighter areas (ie. thighs, knees, etc.).

But as for your dillemma, I think you should just research the dry denim on the site and find a fit that looks similar to yours. I don't feel like diggin around for jean measurements for you. Sorry man.

    LOL.

Anyways, I'd be suspicious of these things...I mean the selvage looks okay...but Rigid Premium's with a "Preshrunk" tag? WTF...I'm not sold on these things at all.

  8. PS: Please read the article in the newest issue of DETAILS regarding castration. Apparently there's a NEO eunich movement and well, one guy just likes wearing tight pants, no crotch bulge.

In fact, it's one of the highlighted quotes, I read it and thought "Hey! Superfuture!".

  9. ^ Doubt you'll get much luck on eBay. I just don't think this NKE 6.0 stuff is gonna catch on. It's just too...generic I guess. But those are the best looking 6.0 shoes I've seen. But I do have to say that the new tech shoes coming out in the SB line are looking good. A solid move away from the dunk I think.

  10. From the picture they look a tad bit on the large side. But how does the waist feel? Considering the amount that these will stretch you want the waist to be pretty damn tight right now...to the point that that last button is a bit difficult to get on.

But it's your judgement versus mine and you're the one wearing them. If they feel good, then wear the shit out of them.
