  1. I really need to convert my bike, but I'm impeded by not wanting to pay someone to do it for me, but also being too dumb to do it myself. How hard was it? Can you be completely retarded (I'm completely retarded by the way) and still do it yourself without utterly destroying your bike?

The conversion takes a good solid full day of work unless you wanna space it out over time. The front chainring is original, all I did was get rid of the larger of the two. I haven't counted the teeth on this one but it's a solid gear. Had to buy a freewheel for the rear hub, and chain. To be honest, the conversion is easy...even for a retard.

However, the bike needed other work that I couldn't do (redished rims, trued wheelset). So that was done with help. If you don't need a full bike tune up, the work consists of removing one crank arm, ditchin a chainring, mounting a new chain, freewheel and making sure everything works. You'll also need to make sure you have the right amount of chain tension.

Then it comes down to brake removal, etc.

  2. Fixie lovers/SS haters need not apply.

78' Schwinn Super Le Tour 12.2. Shaved about 4-5 lbs after conversion, probably ditch the rear brake soon to shave another lb or so. Down to about 21 lbs.

    Fuck gas.

  3. The day has finally come. After purchasing a pair of FH F310's from Selfedge last summer I've finally decided to sell them. I never wear them, they continue to sit on my shelf and my financial difficulties are always growing. Therefor, my FH310's need a new, caring home. These have been worn a total of 4 times and have NEVER been soaked.

Asking price: $215 shipped within the United States.

Unfortunately I'm at work right now and am unable to take photos. These will be taken and uploaded to the page promptly when I get home at 6pm PST tonight. I'm driving to the bay area California tonight but will bring them with me and ship them as soon as a PayPal transfer is made.

Anybody interested PM me. Again, photos ASAP.

    Regards.

  4. Beer color has to do with the types of malts used. More or less determines the color of the beer.

So it would not be innacurate to make the generalization that ingredients DO influence the final color of the brew.

But as with just about anything, you can get pretty specific if you want.

Can't think of a real cheap darker beer. But I can always go for anything by Deschutes Brewery (Mirror Pond specifically).

  5. All,

I picked up these Hush Puppies Corona boots at Blackbird up in Seattle about two months ago. Even though they were a little big I couldn't pass em' up as they only had one size 8 left and another size 11.

Unfortunately they're just too big for me to wear and feel comfortable. I'm going to buy another pair of these just in a smaller size. If anyone has anything similar in a size 7 or 7.5 let me know and I'll trade straight across.

Otherwise I'm gonna let em' go for $75 shipped (paid $90). All I have is a cell phone cam so the photos I could take won't do them justice. Instead I'll link to pic that Hush Puppies has on their website.

NOTE: These have only been worn ONCE. Still in very very near deadstock condition.
