That death bed letter is so stupid, I can't even begin to describe how stupid
No man writes a 3000-word hate letter as he is dying. No man would "outline" recommended business practices with his last breath
so fake fake fake

I feel like getting a pair with monogram and all

Funny thing is, many lame trend whore labels have been trying to do the "authentic americana" jean thing for over 10 years, and they basically fell short and failed, and we ridiculed them for it. Supreme or Stussy Redlines, Old Navy Selvedge, Gap Selvedge, RRL Selvege, etc etc. Now everyone is mad that jcrew, this time, actually hit ALL the salient points? Japanese, raw/1-rinse, rivets, leather patch, selvege, even a chainstich service, etc.... we mad because they hit it on the head?

Desi you in Baltimore? It's especially apparent in the DC area, so many African immigrants here, black people practically forgotten about...

Is there anything cornier than an Asian girl with blue contacts in?
yeah add "fashion frame" glasses

What do you think of all the African peoples immigrating in? They are fairly dominating on the higher education tip (colleges just take em up and it fills whatever diversity goals they have) while ole skool black peoples left the fuck out.
Shit a Ethiopian is damn near Indian or Algerian to me.
Then, what do you think about a Nigerian dude name Ndisi Nkrumah who moved here like 4 years ago talking with a blaccent and telling everyone to call him RayRay?

strange they would use shell on those shoes and not even have a goodyear welt. looks like glued on soles.
Probably not shell cordovan. Still wearable though.

I'm not to keen on Five Guys because:
a) Their establishments are mad greasy (at least the handful of ones I've been to)
Patties themselves are heavy and taste flat
c) They wrap their hot burgers in foil. By the time it gets to you, it's a steamed, soggy, and greasy mass.
d) Their prices are kinda high for the portions you get
I can honestly say I've had better burgers at Wendy's and Carl's Jr./Hardee's.
IMO the key is to order the smaller burger, called Junior or something. I can't stand a giant gray burger. Get what you want on it. I always get A1 sauce - there is no other fast food place where you can get A1 on a burger, AFAIK.
Their fries are great.

Since when did American Apparel start selling Red Wing boots?
They've been up there for months. Actually, I thought I first heard about this from your Twitter account, months ago? I guess not

Is scotch-grained shell a more recent creation? I haven't seen it being offered on any other Aldens before...
It's not new, but it's fairly uncommon. Probably the single biggest user right now is Rider Boot Co. As I understand, you just take standard shell cordovan and do the grain-process on it (stamping).

bump, $150

Some really nice stuff was at regular old Ralph Lauren this past season. I overspent and now I need to get rid of some stuff.
First up is this ridiculous heavyweight wool shirt-jacket. Size M. The tag says it is inspired by the Lake Placid olympics. It seriously looks like its from another era. It features a 100% wool (melton?) shell with 100% felted cotton interlining. You don't see lined wool shirts like this these days. It's nice and thick, it is very similar in function to the Iron Heart Melton Wool Jacket or their lined chambray shirts, except this does not have side slash pockets. It retails for $350.00. The wool hand is very lofty and soft, great insulation. The check pattern is classic and the touch of blue + cream is really unusual. I have never seen anyone wearing this. I would keep it if it were a small. It is absolutely new with tags.
Measurements:
pit to put: 22.5
shoulder seam to cuff: 26
boc to back hem: 27
$170 >> $150

Damn that should go into the Uncomfortable thread.

i'd act a fool too if a biggot axed me to shine his shoes.
yeah this is what I don't really get. I guess all that matters is who threw the first punch?
If some crazy dude gets to talking enough wild shit, I might throw a punch too, even if I might get my ass handed.
Is the point of this video just to show some dude with cornrows get his ass kicked? Everyone's reaction seems to be as if it was some giant MMA racist black gangsta D-Bo MFer who got taught a lesson by a feeble gentle old man. I know I will be flamed so go now

I'd be surprised if they were bootcut, awesome fit though.
They could be. I remember some thin guys tried on the original womens bootcut IH at Self Edge party, they looked very similar to this.
