  1. Is anyone here wearing the same size MIJ raw as MIJ washes? It appears that everyone is sizing up 1 like it's the law, but I just bought my second pair of MIJ wash in the same size as my raw. The first pair I sized up and they've stretched to become a little loose in the waist.

My same-size-as-raw are snug everywhere, including the thighs, but not tight. I'm holding off on wearing them because of this whole size up 1 rule. They're nice jeans too! I just want to make sure that people here have been comfortable after buying one of the washes snug.

  2. My eternal 811 fly buttons are dangerously close to the outer edge when buttoned, about to break through the denim. Anyone else have this problem with worn eternals?

I had this problem with my Skulls. Have a tailor reinforce the button hole before it breaks.

  3. C_Troy: They are 19cm, made of the normal MIJ denim.

comeasyouare: Not sure if they have any more 29s. I'm not up for being a proxy, but I'm sure there are plenty of people in New York who are.

  4. just me to take pic's as wife is at work, tag 29 waist 30, was told 31

Apologies if I mismeasured. You can definitely stretch them because I didn't wear them much. Momos are tough, but I stretched my 28s by soaking the waist and then wearing them wet.

  5. I have for sale a pair of Common Projects Achilles Low in black, size 42. These sneakers are very hard to find in black these days. They are in great condition, as you can see. They were worn 3 days, but I decided they were a little too small. Comes with original box and cloth bags. Price is $SOLD + shipping.

  6. They are a size 28. My Skulls are also a 28. I realize that the measurements say otherwise, but my Skulls are very comfortable and my 0701s are not.

Obviously, my post is a little exaggerated, but every time I put these jeans on, my nuts tell me to take them off.

  7. My problem with my 0701s:

There are many things I like about these jeans. I think the denim, dye, and details are all great. The fit below the top block is also very nice. I posted some pics a page or two back.

What I can't get over is the front rise. There is absolutely no room for my cock or balls. I actually have to stuff them down my left leg, which makes me feel like a parent punishing his child when they've done nothing wrong. This solution, if you can call it that, is extremely uncomfortable and creates a bulge that looks like a mold of my penis. Keep in mind, I am wearing these BELOW my hips. When I pull them down to a level where my package can breath, I feel like I'm wearing girls jeans and my pubes actually stick out the top.

This is no way to live, so I'm giving up. I wish I had noticed the front rise when I was trying them on at BiG, but I was blinded by everything that is right about these jeans. And yes, I have the correct size and even tried a size up to see if that is the problem. I also have other "low rise" jeans that do not have this problem. Anyway, we've all made mistakes. At least I have learned to pay closer attention to the front rise.

  8. @Griffin

Jeans look good. But several years, really? How did you avoid the murder of the crotch? Had three repairjobs done on my NS so far. And they're one and a half year. My PS are going the same way. Any tips on how to avoid this?

Also, and I'm sorry, but longsleeves under t-shirt are only okay if you're going skiing and you are wearing thermo-underwear. Or wait. No then it's not okay either. It reminds me of Home Guard parking lot security. Only they have flashy neon t-shirts. Wait. I also remember a drummer from Blink182 back in the 90s who did it sometimes.

They're really about 2 years old, now that I think about it. I'm a skinny, skinny man and while I couldn't do up the top 2-3 buttons when I first got these, the thighs always fit me fine and didn't stretch much. In fact, the crotch is in great shape after all these wears. I have two friends whose APCs ripped, and they both have thick thighs so maybe that is why.

  9. I just had multiple repairs done to my Skulls. The total cost was $34. They're about 1.5 years old, worn maybe 7-8 months during that time, soaked once, and washed twice.

The patch was half off so I had restiched. (Cost: $2)

The stitching around the pocket had fallen off so I had this reinforced. And...

    IMG_1231.jpg

The pocket itself had ripped on the inside. I had this patched up. (Cost: $12)

    IMG_1232.jpg

The stitching around the buttonholes was pretty much all gone. The holes had started to tear open. The second one from the top was about to rip right through. The tailor stiched all this by hand. (Cost: $20)

And here are some pics of the entire front and back. (Cost: Priceless, Duh.)

  10. This is a pair of Studio D'Artisan SD-103. They are a size 29. As you can see, they have the old arcs and tab. They have been worn about a dozen times but show very little sign of wear. They were hot soaked once for about an hour. Here are the BiG-style measurements:

    Waist: 30"

    Front Rise: 10"

    Back Rise: 14.25"

    Upper Thigh: 10.5"

    Inseam: 33.25"

    Leg Opening: 8"

I am asking $190 shipped anywhere in the US. Payment will be made via PayPal.
