  1. according to grey one, they should be receiving their shipment on the 18th.

Wait, Grey One is carrying Visvim? I have always been disappointed at their shoe collection. I am not even sure why they carry them. They rarely (ever?) have any exclusives. I don't even know if they have a good tier with the companies. Their clothes are great though.

  2. Wow, I haven't visited this thread for a while and I hadn't realized the firestorm my post would set off. First off, I didn't intend to many anyone feel bad about their decsion to purchase this watch. I just think that people should at least have some background knowledge on what they are buying, especially when it means looking silly (to put it lightly) rocking cheap knockoff of a very popular design.

I am surprised at the (albeit small) number of people here who actually are WIS's (look it up). You guys surprised me. As for someone asking about what a good Panerai look-a-like would be, let me tell you one thing - It's not U-Boat. That watch company is rediculous as well.

It's not hard to get a quality Swiss or Japanese (yes I said it) watch for under $500. I;d give you alot more respect and praise for rocking one of those rather than this POS. I also agree with those that said tasteful or respectful copies are far better than cheap imitations. I have a O&W and a Speedbird, both of which look similar to much more expensive counter parts (Rolex and IWC respectively) but nobody would claim I wast trying to pass it off as the real deal.

  3. It'd be nice if people added some context to their measurement posts. Saying you are 5'11 and 160 lbs really does not help in any way. You may be skinny on top but larger on the bottom, or vice versa. And saying you got a size 31 and it was tight on you, means nothing either. I don't know who you are. Please help each other out.

Sam - I emailed you regarding the Sebatsians. Would appreciate it if you got back to me. I am assuming from your post that you are implying the Sebastians are raw? I wasn't sure and the IA website is down.

  4. Hello, everybody.

I just found some people are looking for NIKE SABAKU on this thread, and I'd like to let them know we carry it and some models are on sale now.

    http://www.warakuusa.com/item_list_sale.htm

You can place an order online or walk in the store for better fitting and I hope it helps out some people.

If people from stores can't post here, I'll take my comment down. (Sorry, I'm new here)

    Thank you and happy holidays,

    KOJI from WARAKU

    HAHAHAHAHAHAH!

  5. For me the street scene and watches hardly mix. As you can see on here and hypebeast forums, most people will spend $500 on a pair of shoes but anything over a $50 Timex and they are screaming murder. How many of you even know that this is a wanna be copy, or "tasteful representation" of the famed Panerai watch? Bet many haven't even heard of Panerai previously. But all of a sudden, dpmhi and know1edge team up and make one and it's great.

There are other companies that make watches that look like more famous counterparts, but the difference is these companies are respected themselves. dpmhi x know1edge have as much knowledge (no pun intended) in the watch world as does Kenneth Cole, Coach, and Levi's. They make clothes, shoes, NOT watches. Would you buy a Kraft pair of jeans?

  6. I sized one down and you are right, it's the width that is the main problem. How would you alleviate it? You said it's really loose unless you tie the laces up? As opposed to what? Not tying it? Sorry, I guess I never did that. But even with laces tied up, due to the Chukka design, it doesn't really tighten up the shoe. You don't notice any slippage when you are walking?

  7. I'm not sure if it's on purpose, but did the photographer intend for the photos to turn out this way? They look like they are for some new age magazine ad. Like the ones that are supposed to be "hip" emo druggie like. Cool!
