Thanks ONLY. To be clear, I am not looking for a goretex fabric manufacturer but clothing manufacturer that can take goretex fabric and turn it into a jacket. I don't think you were saying otherwise, but I just wanted to be clear.

I am not using goretex fabric. I have a project with another fabric that I already have and basically I am looking for a technical gear manufacturer to speak with about it. Just looking for a resource to go to and see if this idea I have is feasible.

Any one have any info on Technical/Outdoor Clothing manufacturers? Are most of these companies producing their goods in house? I'm interested as I am looking for a technical gear manufacturer for a small project.

I work as a planner at an Ad Agency. It's not bad. Pay kind of sucks but otherwise I can't complain. I just want to make like 20% more money and live some place else.

I can't say I see myself working on Advertising forever. At this point I don't think it's sustainable. Unless i switch to the creative side which I'd be better at.

Yeah. .086. thanks for the kind words guys. Obviously I know it could be a lot worse and have kept things in perspective. I don't believe I should be exempt from the law, but when you're backed up against a wall, you can't help but be critical of the system that created the law in the first place.

what I did is incredibly embarrassing, but here you go. My girlfriend drives an Audi. The headlight dial in her car is weird. there are 3 settings and none of them turn the lights on but the third, which looks like it's the brights. I consciously decided to put it on the 2nd setting because I didn't want my brights on. It was dusk at the time, so I didn't notice. I got pulled over in traffic in denver when it got dark, but it was after a baseball game so there were tons of lights etc on as people left the area.

I wasn't swerving or anything. Just lights off, but was so pissed at myself because I purposely didn't turn them on.

I won't argue that I shouldn't have been driving. The slightest impairment isn't good and it was a mistake/bad judgment on my part. But I shouldn't have to go 7-8k in debt and have a record for my whole life. The penalties are ridiculous. the annoying part is, I don't even have a car. I never drive, let alone drive drunk.

The best indicator of how screwed up the system is is to listen to the derision you hear whenever a DUI is mentioned. People don't want to hear details, you're automatically a degenerate who "could've killed some one". the truth is that 99% of people with DUI's are more than likely as drunk as your dad was driving home from a BBQ when you were a kid. Again, pointless rant.

yeah, I understand that drunk driving is a bad thing. However, It has been blown way out of proportion. I blew a .086 and was perfectly capable of driving fine. Two years ago, the limit in my state was lowered from 1.0 to .08, so I wasn't a criminal then. There's also no evidence that lowering the limit does anything to stop the real problem, which are drivers that are so drunk or crazy that they don't give a shit. These are the people who run people over. I had like 3 beers over the course of 2 or so hours at a baseball game, I shouldn't be criminalized. Heck, we allow 90 year olds to drive around who have less control of a vehicle than me after 3 beers. Pointless rant......I'm just pissed about it.

My Life sucks right now. I am pitifully broke. I got a DUI in August and paid 3k to some dickhead lawyer who did nothing for me, literally nothing. I got the same punishment I would have got if I was alone. I just finished paying off the debt I incurred from that, and I get a call from my Payroll dept that the court is docking my paycheck for the 1500 dollar fine I owe for the DUI (which I was planning on paying with my tax return). I am so sick of dealing with bureaucracy. I call them up to see if I can not get my pay docked and just pay in march/april and get the privilege of speaking to some asshole who can't do anything for me.

plus I have a job I hate. I am depressed as hell. and any of the things I normally turn to to cope with being a loser (booze, cigs, shopping, pot) are kind of off limits now cus I'm trying to clean up my act.

Deep down I know this is all my fault ( even though DUI laws are fucking corrupt and retarded) which makes it even worse.

though my ultimate gadget now is a VITAMIX i just got. thing is insane. I am kind of in a detox/no drinking phase right now, so I use it to blend up raw kale and blueberries (which it does incredibly) but in the future I want to experiment with it. really cool appliance.

I live in a ground floor apartment right on a street in a very sleepy town. My place is on the corner of a building and all the units next to it are empty.

last week at like 3:30 in the morning, I am fast asleep, and a rock the size of a football smashes the window in my bedroom. it's kind of a modern place, so the windows are double plated and like 6 feet tall. scared the living shit out of me. Glass was everywhere in my bed and shit. I ran outside with a vacuum (only thing I could grab quickly haha) but the guy was gone.

It was weird, shook me up pretty bad when I got to thinking because all the blinds were open on our windows, so the guy purposely threw it in an occupied bedroom.

Didn't sleep for 2 full days. Was just up with a knife and a big frying pan waiting for like bogeymen to come bursting through my door.

Yeah. I realize that some people on this board went to school, or worked hard at internships, or paid a lot of money in order to have access to this information, so I certainly don't presume that it should be handed out to every idiot with a brand idea. However, If any one could PM, maybe we could work something out.
