I got drunk and saw the Tree of Life on friday night. Put me in quite the emotional state. had me simultaneously mesmerized/relaxed about how pointless everything is in the vast scheme of things and depressed about how futile anything we try to do really is.sort of don't be so tough on yourself but also what the hell is the point. Made me think of my grandmother who I visited a few weeks ago, her new thing is she doesn't want to leave her house. My brother offered to pick her up and drive her to his house for a birthday party for my little niece who is three. She didn't want to go. Just said she would rather stay home. It's made me really try and reevaluate how I look at the world, and what I want to experience in life. and for the first time in my life really, afraid of dying. it seems like every one in my family comes to a kind of sad end. obviously death, but death with negativity and fear and the ruins of their life. sometimes it feels like there is something in our blood (chemical imbalance most likely ha) that has the ability to make everything seem fucked.
I need to find a way to be content in this world.

I'm coming off a two year extremely dysfunctional relationship. completely lost my way in life, got fat, lost drive, emotion, passion, everything. I'm building myself back up, and things are going so well, but i'm in a situation where I have no friends at all. I kind of like it, because it is giving me the time to pursue a creative venture that has me really excited, but I feel really lonely sometimes. I'm trying to grow up and handle shit better, but it has always felt so natural to be depressed. times like this I feel like I need a punch in the face from my older brother, but I really want to find some form of love. I need some affection.

Stone Island shadow Project Bag from a few seasons ago. made with bagjack I think. This bag is pretty awesome. It has reflective 3M (i think its 3m) on outside, ballistic nylon, an awesome heavy duty blue nylon liner inside. I'd keep it if I wasn't in need of cash. it retailed for like 750 and was used literally twice to an office. 9.9/10 condition. 650 shipped.

I'm growing my hair out. it's like 6 or 7 inches on top now, But kind of slow going because i had the undercut shaved a few months back so the top would grow out long over the sides rather than same length all over.
I am fascinated by the bun/knot, but I would look like a douche with it on the top, however I think its ok for white guy to have it in the back like a ponytail. would be pretty subtle.

I am definitely in. I am voting for the plain grey, but if ithe maroon was changed to another color for the second option, I would go with that.

have some made in USA 998's and UK 1500's i picked up off ebay for pretty cheap. I was originally attracted cus of the "made in....." implying quality. but the quality doesn't really seem all that great now that I have them. Hanon Shop really charges insane prices for these things. the blogged product shots look way better than these sneakers look in person.

I like this thread. another dream last night.
I get a package in the mail that has a CD in it.
I put on the CD and it kind of goes to this website where there are all these songs that are kind of controversial (i dont quite remember what they said, but I remember one making fun of 9/11 whatever that means)
so i listen to the songs and have no clue who sent them.
then my mom goes into my facebook and posts the song link on my wall.
but the link turns into this enormous series of offensive greeting cards that are displayed as if you posted a photo on facebook. I dont know the subject matter, but they were offensive.
there are like ten of them and in a second like 50 people have commented saying how disgusting and despicable a person I am for posting the cards.
I erase the cards.

i had a really weird dream a few nights ago. I was lying down looking at my torso, and noticed what looked like a really large pore or tumor. so I inspect it and start ripping at it trying to see what it is. and eventually I pull out this kind of mushroom like plug out of my skin, like you would a blackhead or something. and then I proceed to pull out all sorts of vegetables from this pore in my skin. carrots and potatoes and beets. it was really gross.
any thoughts?

Just about finished re-reading the song of fire and ice series to prepare for the new once coming out in July, but I'll have 3 weeks before that and finishing, so looking for something a little more serious to dig into.
