  1. Yes, don't buy something out of a trend. I've been rocking skulls since I was young, and been influenced so much with 80's skateboard graphics and punk. Hence I get drawn to liking stuff like Cloak and Number (N)ine over conventional styles. But if you do want to experiment right now, I'd say buy something inexpensive. If you're not feeling it, then not much is wasted. Also if you're gonna rock a specif style, I say go all the way and collect a lot of it.

  2. Most of the dive bars don't have any special thing goin on. So Mars Bar, Max Fish, B-sides are pretty much the same all through the week. Most of the theme events happen on Fridays, at Lit, Happy Ending. I'd like to add Fridays at Scenic ,on Ave B and 2st. and another dive called Beauty Bar on East 14th street.

  3. Number (N)ine to me is like the trashier rock and roll look. A lot of dark pieces but not goth at all. If I had the money I would definitely buy some of their stuff. Their clothes are soft and not worn out looking, boots aren't that bad. Agree that the staff are very cool and helpful. The design of the store itself is nice.

  4. I've been thinking of getting a Red Wing ankle boot for fall. The real vintage, worn out, are the best ..but no luck with size. Anyone knows where good stores in NYC has them? I'm having little time to window shop these days so hitting on the right stores would be great.

Who has time to wear pants when they are trying to break in dry selvedge and considering getting a new pair to alternate each day?

Nevertheless - i still like those ol' Carharrt work pants.

Very true. I've postponed buying trousers because of my dry jeans. When I do buy one, I'm getting those horizontal cords pants or something what Undercoverism has, black pants with rips and zippers and shit.
