I agree with Serge as vintage being the true exclusive, that's why half my wardrobe is. I buy limited sneakers not for the hype but for the design and when I buy them, I don't think about I'm gonna be the only one in my block who will have these on. Especially in New York, it's funny how you can see high end retail shops selling these kicks, only to find it in some shitty backstreet shoe store selling the same stuff. They probably have some mafia connections with the actual factories in Asia. So for me, limited edition is not really limited. Buying deadstock is more like it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they have them in Japan, all possible color combinations and material.

Yeah those where the mosquitos I was referring to, the Vans Madrid! Saw a bunch of nice sk8 hi's in the Non-No and Huge magazine.

I have a strong attachment with Vans since it was the first skate shoe I skated in. I had the sk8 hi black and skull prints on red canvas, this was sometime around '89. I haven't seen one in any store or online at the moment, but would be glad if someone out there saw it and can point me to one. I still wear Vans at work, and maybe lookiing to skate again. Did any of you remember those Vans with mosquito prints on them?, it was some sort of special edition back in the days.

Could anyone help me out in deciphering www.vansjapan.com. Does it say if they ship to the US? I just found some cool sk8 hi's that I like. Thanks!

I don't know if you've seen the leather version of these jackets, but they're very very nice!

I saw them just last Friday at Barneys NY Madison Ave. Branch. I didn't really like it, maybe because it was bootcut. Saw only one wash, a deep dark blue one.

Thanks guys. Now I'm a proud owner of an APC Cure jeans in raw denim. It was exactly what I was looking for, tight and skinny on the legs and I guess the lower waist would come once they start stretching. I'm excited in breaking it in, not washing, putting dirt and all.

Since the APC site is down plus I haven't gotten the chance to visit the APC Soho store in NYC, where else can I get these wonderful jeans? I'm looking for the skinny, tapered on the legs but relaxed on the butt area style and low waist. The one I'm currently wearing, that is perfect fit, is the Acne Action Jeans Max Fletch. So any other retailers in NYC, online shops out there that sell APC jeans? Do they have a good stock of jeans in the Soho store? Many thanks!

Just pickup the latest Japanese Men's Magazine if you want inspiration. They're crazy about anything from Dior Homme, Raf Simmons, Neighborhood, slim belts, vintage boots, collaboration sneakers. My Japanese friends in New York rock colored tight pants (green, pink , red) with trainers. I think they are the most confident people in fashion. If you feel their style ..go for it!
