  1. I think it depends on the materials used. I have a feeling the twill caps will be less than $40.

yeah the $44 ones in the past seemed to be the ones that had a custom plaid pattern, whereas the $38 ones were often screen-printed patterns.

was surprised there were no camo ones in the webshop.

  2. I have the striped oxfords from last season but these seem a little different. The colored stripes on the previous season's oxfords were wider.

yeah f/w07 were the same style as this season (equal width white and colored striped). f/w08 were the wider stripes like you said.

  3. That makes a lot more sense.

the navy/white one actually looks really good in person...would've gone for it but i've already got the same style of striped oxford in royal/white and black/white that Supreme did in Fall 07.

  4. which looks better in person? striped blue oxford or striped purple? the blue's lookin a little pale from the pic.

the labels are switched on those: the pale one is actually the purple, and it's more of a pale lavender color. the darker one is the blue one, which is navy.

  5. you do? or your girl says so, ahahaha

r&s pls stop messin with my decision not to buy that jacket. you get anything for yourself?

:D those snap-close hem slits at the back/sides of the jacket are another nice detail

I only grabbed the grey work pants and the green camo box cap for myself. all the jackets looked good but as we've discussed a closet can only fit so many! might have to go for the red oxford when the webshop opens: grabbed the navy/white stripe one for my friend and it seems like the sizing on those is still a little big but not quite as big as last season?

  6. was in NY over the weekend and grabbed the Timberline jacket for a friend: didn't really look like much in the photos but in person it's quite nice. The waxed cotton has a really unique feel and i found it interesting that the material was manufactured by this company:

    http://www.britishmillerain.com/

the company's logo/patch is sewn onto the inside, nice little detail.

  7. Not sure if it was mentioned but the patch on the camo caps was thicker like the ones used in the past. The rest got the current patch.

whoa crazy, just saw pics of those on ebay and they've got the raised border on the patch like all the pre-2003 caps had

  8. ok quick stock summary while i'm on a conf call, jackets will come later because i have more to say about them. line not too bad but looked like it was moving pretty slowly, there may have been a little more at the bape sale surprisingly...

    nice 1 ready!

let's hear about the jackets then :)

  9. I wore those canvas ones for a week in vegas and one night i couldnt even walk anymore thats how bad they were.

backs of the heels on those canvas shoe are murder, they take forever to break in

  10. all of Supreme's Alpha-made stuff has been made in either Vietnam (the 2005-ish stuff) or China (last couple years). The Alpha-made stuff always comes in an Alpha bag, like the Spring 08 striped parka and MA-1 jackets (both of which were made in China). Prior to starting to use Alpha around 2005 Supreme used to have all their jackets made by Spiewak (in Hong Kong or China).

  11. they insinuating that MJ gonna come back as vampire? ..that would be dope...lol

wasn't he rockin fangs in the thriller video at some point? it's been about 25 years since i last watched it so i could be off :)

  12. diamond shining vamps is not goth..or skate or street........or hype....

    vamp overkill..........

and no MJ reference tees? for shame!

i thought it kinda looked like MJ on that Baddest Deffest tee ha

  13. That suede front sweater is classic NYC, you used to see tons of dudes rocking those things in the late 70's/early 80's in Brooklyn. Go look in a Jamel Shabazz book , I bet you'll find some people wearing them.

Supreme did the same style of suede/knit zip sweater back in 2002, called the 'chico sweater.' i'll try and post scans later.

also interesting to see that they switched things up and added a second size tag to the tops, not to mention the old-school-Supreme black tag on the inside of the timberline jacket.

  14. that flannel's nice. $148 though. fuck.

pretty sure the flannels are gonna be around $118 again, not 148, which might be someone's projection based on the prices they saw in Smart or something.
