As for Indonesia (and I'm talking Java, Bali, South Sumatra) the traditional rainy season is from October through March but climate changes (global heating) pretty much messed it up.

I never heard of a Benelux pass but if it's a rail pass then it'll be available at Central Station. Probably at the international desk on platform 1.

I'd say Naples: great sightseeing (city itself, Vesuvius, Pompei, bay islands), beaches (mainland, Capri, Procida), food and last but not least: s-h-o-p-p-i-n-g.

Definitely Lloyd Hotel. Bit of an excentric location but in cool redeveloped dockland area. 10-minute bike ride to central Amdam.

Hi,
Naples has great restaurants, the ones I went to are featured on the site:
http://superfuture.com/city/city/selected.cfm?city=58
Most restaurants are very traditional in decor but boast superb food. My fave would be Renzo e Lucia also because of the great views of the bay area.
Capri is a boutique infested island. Take the funicolare at the harbour to go uptown (literally) and indulge in some heavy duty shopping. The Miu Miu store in particular is very cool.

Er…I’ve been there but that’s quite some time ago. Loved the place: very luscious and green, not-so-bad beaches, nice people. But I had the impression it caters mostly to retired tourists who love to play golf…You go there to totally do nothing, sunbathe, sip caipirinhas…all that stuff...So not for the exciting nightlife. But then again, things may have changed…
