  1. @Alec Leamas Thank you, I just saw your photos of the 47, it looks really great indeed 👌. You even managed to get ⚡️ on the coin pocket 👍
  2. @forget it Hello, for this pair of jeans, I kept track of the number of washes (I always washed my 714 right side out, buttoned up, and never used a dryer). If it helps, here are my notes on the number of washes and the number of times worn (in the photos, it’s after the 8th wash): Before the 1st wash: 60 days Before the 2nd wash: 19 days Before the 3rd wash: 14 days Before the 4th wash: 25 days Before the 5th wash: 17 days Before the 6th wash: 19 days Before the 7th wash: 8 days Before the 8th wash: 14 days Before the 9th wash: 10 days (03/05/2025
  3. @Beau_FrEaK Hello, yes, you’re right, and besides, Denime seems to be heading in the same direction as WH, with many different variations. I imagine that WH has brought the “historical” dimension to the new Denime.
  4. @Alec Leamas Thank you, indeed I think the W32 should be perfect. Does it fade well?
  5. Usually, Denime uses a selvedge weave in this pattern: ↖↗↗↖, like in the Lot 220A. I noticed that in the ‘Vintage Banner’ denim lots—220XX-54 and 220XX-47—the weave used was like this: ↗↗↗↗, similar to the 1950s 501XX. Does anyone know if this is the first time Denime has used this ↗↗↗↗ weave?
  6. I need some advice on the Lot 220XX 1954. Could someone help me with sizing? I have the Lot 221 Big E in W32, the WH DSB 1947 in W32, and the Resolute 714 in W33. What size would you recommend for the 220XX 1954? I’m hesitating between W31 and W32. Does anyone have measurements? Thanks for your advice.
  7. @blooming Thank you for your advice. I just ordered the 711 to enjoy Hayashi’s signature style. I love the 714, but I like the wider leg opening of the 711. I hope the back rise won’t be too low. I’ve tried quite a few jeans over the years, and Resolute’s denim is truly incredible—I think it’s my favorite.
  8. @blooming Hello, I’m considering buying the 711 (to enjoy Hayashi’s signature). I already have the 714, which I really like, but I’m drawn to the wider leg opening of the 711. I see that you have this pair of jeans in W32 L32. I’m hesitant to order an L32, but I’m worried that the inseam will shrink significantly after multiple washes. Would you have the inseam measurement of your 711 after several washes? Thank you.
  9. @indigoeagle I was wondering about this because it is specified on the DSB 47, 53, and 54. I also read that there is a dyeing process for denim called “loop-dyed.” I was wondering about the difference between this and rope-dyed and how it applies to DSB denim.
  10. My 714 is starting to fade. Sorry for the poor quality of the photos.
  11. Hello, does anyone know if the Dead Stock Blue fabric from Warehouse (model 47) is rope dyed? I’ve read that the rope dyeing process results in a better fade. Does anyone have information about this? And an example of a fade on a DSB 47?
  12. Small detail observed in Clutchman's video, with the comparison of the 1946 SG model (on the left) and the 1946 501 (on the right): the stitching of the belt loop is sewn into the pocket bag on the 501, whereas in SG's reproduction, it is not sewn into the pocket bag. 🧐
  13. I bought the 1946 model (a bit late, lol). I was lucky to find a pair in my size at Göteborg Manufaktur. Thanks @Beau_FrEaK for the advice. The fit is perfect for me. The fabric is really beautiful, and the level of detail is impressive. I can't wait to wear it, but I'll have to get the length altered.
  14. @youngofthesoonest Thank you very much for the clarification 👍
  15. Hello, Could someone tell me the difference between the SG 1947 (regular) and the SG 1946 supercollectibles? Are the cuts identical? I’ve seen that the 1946 was made from a finer fabric (13.5 oz) and the 1947 from a thicker fabric (14.25 oz). I haven’t been able to find the information, but do you know what the thickness of the Cone Mills fabric used by Levi’s at that time was?
