But surely isn't this whole leak business is one of the reasons subnet was axed? colour me discombobulated...

This is how you build up hype after all...

  2. Im a bit jealous now as my Instagram is full of this jacket. And I thought the subnet was dead!
Not a big fan of the fisherman hood, but the overall layout (white/black zips, new chest pocket) looks amazing and white gore in general. Curious though if/when this will be officialy released as we already have a J1 release this season.

Any speculation for the C1-AM and the like? I’d guess another 2 weeks before another drop if it didn’t appear today...

Hope everyones gratuitous retail therapy has gone well~

So far we got 3 products in march and 3 in april so my guess would be C1-AM, S23-AK and J84-S coming in another 3-4 weeks at the beginning of may.

  4. Even more products listed as "coming soon" - no sign of J84-S yet :(

Curious about the prices for J47-GT and P10-DS as these are minor upgrades from the previous iterations. S23-AK seems quite tempting. Overall the first drop felt more innovative in my opinion.

About the J1L - curious if these are made in china as well compared to the normal gen 2.2 but lets see when everything will drop!

  5. Yes, the crotch looks indeed different, but that is probably the point of the whole cut, with all the excess material that comes with such a wide waist. At least i had no funny bulging so far (as known with the P30A).

Wearing it a bit higher makes the crotch a bit less apparent, of course.

  6. P35-DS just came in. First impression: i like it a lot! For me its a really fresh aesthetic, its somehow both typical acrnm without looking like "that" classical techwear pant. Same as the P30A-DS, its waist is really wide, but with the crotch being shorter. It still allows to be worn both low- and high- waisted. I personally prefer to wear them a bit higher, which results in a "cropped" - 7/8 look (again liking this a lot!) as they are overall not too long (around 96cm size m). I will take some fit-pics as soon as i have the time to.

Why all of a sudden everyone stopped posting photos of items they're selling? I understand if you're selling BNWT, but P10 for 450? I'm pretty sure people would like to see pics before sending you a message.

At least a quick XX/10 condition wouldn't hurt.

  8. New products online: two WS jackets and one pants. The pants are kind of interesting, I’m a bit underwhelmed by the jackets though tbh. Looking forward to J84-S, whenever it will come.

  9. How do you iron your dryskin garments? Doing it on low/synthetics temp., but i recently noticed some marks from the seams that are below (i.e. from pockets). Not looking good at all and im not sure if this can be fixed. Always thought you need this to re-activate the DWR. Did this ever happen to anyone else?

Thats not what i meant, they require a contact and phone number from the recipient. I'll email acrnm about it, but if anyone knows anything, please let me know.

    Returning a P30A-DS, btw.

For future reference, i reached out to Acronym and these are the correct details:

You should probably state yourself as a contact person and give them your phone number.

  12. I wanna return something I bought at the mothersite via UPS but they want a contact person and phone number. Has anyone got info what I do need to state?

(sorry that I need to ask, I am sure we had this before but I just can’t find the post..)

  13. How do y'all feel about the new S/S collection? For me most pieces are a bit too "loud"(bright colors etc), but that's really a matter of personal taste after all. At least theres a new iteration of the beloved tunic shirt and the knitwear stuff is quite solid as well.

On the other hand is it really sustainable to ship a jacket halfway around the world just to fix a minor issue?

On the first glance, obviously not. But we’re talking about something that should last years and years. Also, some “minor” issue can grow into something more serious, holes can get bigger, etc. etc. - maybe this is still better than buying an entirely new one.

of course it is an interesting discussion, especially with this brand and customer base. I mean, a lot of people do possibly own a larger acrnm collection at this point. No offense at all, but it is maybe not so sustainable to own multiple gt pro jackets that got shipped all around the globe. On the other hand, most pieces are excellent second hand products.

  15. Yeah i know, upscaling seems to be hard for the brand, but you have to support your customer base, and basically denying service on products with the current pricing is just unacceptable. Especially if you praise sustainability as E is doing it right now with the so called "rep-iteration".

RE J58 Cinch: this is something a tailor can fix if it bothers you, of course you have to get rid of the original hem and replace it though. Tried it, works wonders. I see most people won't do it because it can affect resell-value.

I find the J65-AK to be somewhat itchy, picky, or scratchy. I have to wear a thick shirt or a jacket underneath or wear two layers of shirts underneath. It's warm and it's nice-looking when new but I must agree . . .it won't wear too well!

You guys just saved me a lot of money. Thanks. Was really looking into buying one but this sounds quite bad. Had the J65-AJ and returned it as well, same thing about the fabric (scratchy), also the cut was just not for me, especially the arms looked kinda strange, not anything like on the product pics.

  17. WTS

    Acronym LA6B-DS Size M

Condition 8,5/10 - Dryskin looks still very good, the buttons and areas around show some wear

    ShirtSling included

Located in Germany / actually bought this couple of weeks ago from @Holger. Selling because i realized the cut (quite slim) isn't for me.
