  1. In the wash and dryer they went. Haven’t tried them on yet but the waist looks like a potato chip. raw 41 cm flat hot soak 39 Washer and dryer 37, but they don’t really lay flat anymore they softened up a bit too.
  2. I just measured them, they’re actually smaller than my warehouse 800, I think the rise makes them not fit right. Hot soak fit photos. going in the washing machine now
  3. Do you know what they started at?
  4. Just from the pre soak fit I didn’t have much hope, usually I can stick a hand in my waist band, if I tried these in person I would have sized down for sure. I wasn’t shipping these back to hinoya so I had nothing to lose. is it worth throwing in the washing machine and dryer? I don’t want any dreaded marbling. I assume they’ll stretch out back to loose regardless. here’s some pre soak photos for now
  5. Well to answer my own question, I did the hottest soak I could do for an hour then dried in my bathroom with a dehumidifier. Went from 82 to 78cm, which is about where my warehouses are. I was swimming in these things, must be the higher rise. I can’t even image a size down would help. Any advice? also would like to mention if anyone is looking for a size 31 I’m going to put these up for sale for what I paid.
  6. Bought a pair of 220, size 31. I can fit both hands in my waistband, is it worth even trying to shrink these? Figure with stretch it’s going be an inch too big. im currently wearing size 32 warehouse 800xx and they fit fairly well.
  7. I can measure and compare to the f+p size chart for 32’s also for what it’s worth I bought mine from there as they are local, if you email or call them they’d be happy to measure a pair for you. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, couldn’t recommend them enough.
  8. It wouldn’t make a difference at this point. They’re already twice as dirty after one week unfortunately. I strip them off at the door along with my work boots when I get home because. I had them nice and clean for a week vacation, 20 minutes back at work I spilled sewer sludge down the entire right side of my leg. I figure I’ll wait til I’m done this project before washing again. Hopefully there’s no oil stain from the run off 🤢
  9. 3 months, covered in sewer drain dirt going in the tub. 800xx
  10. Warehouse 800xx in 32, I believe they were about 81-82cm in the waist and shrunk down to 74 stretched back out to 80 in one day. I wore many slim straight pairs, Fullcount 1108, iron heart 666, flathead 3009, pbj, momotaro etc, they all stretched and sagged below my hips. These are really nice because the high rise allows my belt to sit above my hips and prevents any sagging. the denim is very rough and uncomfortable compared to the nice Zimbabwe cotton in other brands, I’m eager to break these things in hard like my flatheads. I’m going to avoid putting my cell phone and wallet in the rear pockets as it seems to promote too much stretching in the seat of the jeans.
  11. 3009, wasn’t too keen on these but the measurements fit the bill. Having a dozen of so pairs that I retire after a couple years, I told myself I’ll machine wash these often and wear them until they’re beyond repair. Didn’t care for the vertical fading at first but that has seemed to vanish. Extremely fast fading, these aren’t even at 2 years yet. Darned the crotch professionally and doing self repairs now. By far the best fitting slim straight pairs I’ve owned. also I wanted to add, I believe washing maching significantly increases fabric wear. The first photo was right before a wash, then the last 2 photos show fraying in several spots including the knees, right after a gentle cycle no spin
  12. looking at their reviews it doesn’t sound like you’re the only one in this situation. I saw your review on google and I’m pretty pissed off the way the responded. I’d file some kind of complaint.
  13. Yep, that was me. I’ve been looking on Japan auctions through a proxy, communication is impossible. They always list the size but I never know if it’s washed or stretched. Was hoping to find someone on here with exact sizes. I’ve been using the way back machine to find someone archived size charts online with no luck. Those 31’s will probably too tight for me if what you say is true. Now finding someone dead stock will be a challenge. also wanted to say thanks for the help, your Denime knowledge has been priceless.
  14. this is a long shot but does anyone have a pair of denime type xx from the shins era? theres a pair for sale that isnt cheap and i cant find a size chart. was wondering if someone has a size chart or if they can expertly tell what size they have in either a washed or stretched state. im looking at a size 31 and they are one wash.
