thanks mate they are great. about the hem: I don't know tbh. Got them like this from Yahoo auctions, they were lightly worn back then. lengthwise factory hem could be possible at 78cm.

@goodrain would love to have a pair in a wider fit aswell, but these work really well for me right now. getting washed weekly right side out lately, being summer jeans and all.

Denim Blunders, Reflections and General Nonsense.

Kinda never got the thing about the super heavy slubs like PBJ, Oni and Tanuki. Also IH, tried a few of their jeans, and the cuts seem to be a bit off for me, that combined with the heavyweight denim and underwhelming durability makes it even worse... Nowadays the only pair I have from them, sits around at my parents place, for when I have to work in their yard. I do like the old SDA stuff, but the new tab placement just doesn't do it for me. I would have loved to try FC but that whole thing with the TCB 20s contest kinda ruined them for me. So maybe some grievances here and there might be there

Denim Blunders, Reflections and General Nonsense.

Been thinking the same thing for a while now, but a bit of different stuff every once in a while keeps it fun for me. Sometimes I like to dress like a slob in holey jeans, torn shoes and an old comfy sweater, sometimes I like to dress it up a bit, with a crisp shirt, new-ish jeans and nice shoes. But for the most part it's a clean pair of jeans a t-shirt, depending on the weather a random flannel or chambray shirt on top. So a bit of variation is key for me, but the usual wardrobe is kind off inbetween my nice and sloppy look. Doesn't hurt to experiment a bit, imo, maybe it leads to something cool.
  14. thanks lots BF! dc4 also made the best offer for the 5 of them
  15. Paging the german denim nerds here, Which places offer chainstitch hemming besides DC4 and Statement? Looking for a place to hem a part of my collection and am trying to keep it on the lower side of things. Thanks in advance

    Unknown Japanese Brands

These aren't as durable, as they were once built, it seems. I got about 4 weeks/1 months of wear on them, got them DS a few years ago. Threads on the right back pocket are already popping in places, plus a hole is forming on the bottom of it. Thread start breaking beside the crotch-bartack, plus a hole is forming in the crotch. All in all comfy and cool jeans, though.

fit on the white canes. slimmer than the wool-mix-ones I got. Thighs just work out, else they are great. Hope they stretch a bit in that area, but let's see. Else they are great

    Sugar Cane Denim

these finally came around According to PSAs Website they only got sold one-wash, even though they've been labelled raw. Only found them at PSA online, aswell, so this is the only info I have. Judging from the cardboard patch these are once washed, would explain the bit of puckering on the seams. Now just to hoping the inseam might shrink up an inch more and they are perfect for summer

^ I guess in relation to the 90s and early 2000s youth culture and style did a full circle. Other styles auch as trends of skinny jeans and slim fits somehow never went away in some circles, IMO.
