Hi denim peeps. Warehouse sweatshirts, single V or no V at all, is my preference (but not raglan sleeves) Size large. I'm not sure what colours are currently available but would be interested to know where the easiest and cheapest (so not Soas) place to order from, preferably a site that's not too difficult to negotiate for a non-tekky person like myself :)

    Cheers!

Hey have you looked at Corlection here in Aus? They ship for free depending what you spend otherwise 44 AUD. Your pound is strong against our $.

    Worth a look mate.

Size 34 post a few hot washes and dries

    Waist 16

    Front rise 12

    Inseam 30.5

    Leg opening about 9

    Raw (via clutch)

    Waist 16.75

    Front rise 13.5

    Inseam 34.25

    Leg opening 9.5

Hi, have a pair on order at the moment. From what I saw a size 33 has a 35 waist pre- wash, but according to your measurement they shrink from tag size. Can you confirm this is the case or have you boiled yours for shinkage? only cool wash and line dry but want to finish up with a 33 waist. Yours look great by the way!

I think you’ll find the newer jackets will show wear a lot quicker not being moleskin - so I hope you enjoy it and I’m looking forward to the fit pics

Ah yes that's a very good point, and the buttons down the front are different too, Don't really post photos, but yeah maybe.

  4. @Duke Mantee

Thanks for posting your "ironhead" jacket, it's looking fantastic. I encouraged  my partner to buy me one earlier this year when they redid the jacket, as a birthday present. Your photos have only made me keener to finally get my hands on it and lucky for me my birthday is later this week.

    So about Samurai 710 fit

is it supposed to give the appearance of a bubble butt no homo with the roomy top block and pocket shape

    WTF?

  6. I think that's just a typo in the listing. A youth version wasn't to my knowledge made, and the patch clearly doesn't have an extra letter to the Lot number, The 36 inch leg would also indicate an adult model.

Western Australia has no cases at all. We do not care about imported cases as they are from returning citizens and those numbers are irrelevant. Only community spread cases is important as that dictates if a state should shut its borders with other states. all new cases under Australia comes from the damned eastern states of NSW and VIC.

The states with people in them!

oh right, that's true. but it is still a massive difference to most of Australia right now. everything back to normal without any restrictions whatsoever and without a case in more than 6 months.

I'm in Melbourne and we still have restrictions, and for your information , Victoria, New south wales, Queensland and South Australia have all had outbreaks in the last six months, though not as serious as some in other parts of the world.Western Australia has been free from it as the state closes it's border at the slightest outbreak, They have just closed their border to Victoria for the second or third time as we have ten or eleven cases, as an example.

This is a beauty, going for ¥63,800 right now on Yahoo.
I’m no LVC expert, but according to the description on the listing this is a ‘98 Valencia Street 507XX, so very early LVC if I’m not mistaken.

That's nuts, I used to work at a Levi's store in Sydney back in the day and I still have one of these in dead stock condition. Mine is also 555 coded and produced in may 1998, complete with labels, though it's a size 48. Didn't realise these went for so much money. Maybe I should sell as I prefer the Japanese repro's these days!!!

What's your view on a brand like two moon ? If it was more accessible outside japan would it be more popular ? They basically do a bit of everything

Hey I've got two of their sweats, really, really nice and quite good value, Never really liked the look of their tee's though, with the big dumb graphics!

Those look good too. So I want to hear from someone who actually worn a pair of denim with flannel pockets for awhile. Are they really more prone to breaking than anyelse as Maynard said. I have zero experience and so far the idea I like the most is the roulette/lottery pockets. It may drive Hajime and his team crazy though, so I wouldn't be surprised if they say no for reasons of "logistics sustainability" :D.

Hey, I have a pair of Pherrows lot 421 with the flannel pockets. Can't really comment on how sturdy they are, but can tell you that they are quite hot to wear and very much a winter jean down here in Melbourne. I'd stick to a twill or chambray fabric for something that's period correct and practical. Very much looking forward for these to be released by the way !

No problem, sorry I can't help with the Warehouse. I just haven't found that any high-end canvas sneakers have really separated themselves much from '70s chucks. I can feel and see the differences in some when handled at Self Edge and other retailers, but I can't find $140 of additional value in them. That's not to say others shouldn't find that value in 'em, just where I'm at.

Oh yes, completely agree, at their price point they can't be beaten.

    What is wrong with you?

    First off it is Christmas.

Second, the new poster asked a simple question which fits 100% into the subject of this thread.

I suggest you adjust your attitude and grow up.

    @indoverificator

I looked closely at the photos and I do see indications of genuine fading so I think it is possible that those pants were factory distressed as members have indicated but they have been worn long enough that there is also real-world fade also.

My comment was that this thread is really about nothing and going around in circles, no harm was intended to anybody who posts here mate, and yes I'm well aware it's Christmas, whatever that has to do with it.

  15. My pair have been at some postal facility here in Melbourne for over two days now, and I'm starting to get pissed off. Leave for the in laws on Monday morning, so it's tomorrow or bust.

Thank you for your response. you also the only one who welcoming me to this forum, much appreciated. I already read your suggest about rules of posting new thread that I did not know about this before.

your answer that saying my jeans is not counterfeit also relieving me since I spent some money to buy it and never expected to get fake item.

once again, thank you and merry christmas.

END OF THREAD? I fucking hope so.

  17. Hello, these would be the 1952 101z jean.

Can't tell if they are original or the Japanese repro model, if you want more information on them then take a look at the Leepro thread on this forum and have a look at Lee Japan the archives series online.

    I like that fit mate!!

My Full count type one is a  similar fit, just wear it in the winter so I can layer it and wear slimmer jackets in the summer, it is a work wear style afterall. In short it's a keeper for me.

Picked up the 1949HXX from user @radfad2000 last week. He was kind enough to come meet me in Cambridge, MA as I was visiting the Boston area. A true king.
Got them home, stitch ripped the arcs down to Levi spec, and gave ‘em one more wash and dry to get rid of any remaining shrink. The fit is perfect. These are now my favorite jeans.
Felt kinda silly picking up another pair of banner denim like 2 weeks after getting my last pair, but I’m glad I did. I think I’m just a sucker for the arcs.
I think I’m gonna “experiment” a bit with the other pair and start wearing ‘em to work. I’m a cable installer and I’ve only ever worn dickies type pants. I think the 1001’s could end up looking pretty crazy after a year of wearing em on the job.

Anyways- here’s the 1949HXX, 33x32 after two wash and dry cycles.
