Happy New Year everyone.
my fading progress after a lot of wear and 3 washes is negligible (which contrary to the contest, I see as a win tbh). I rotate with my tcb20s contest which are heavily worn and washed and are about as faded as uncle's 40s.
im certainly enjoying the cut and the denim. The jacket is slim and the "missing" button means my 49yr old paunch fights to be contained!
thank you to everyone who is a more frequent contributor. I will get more pictures up this year.

I tried to wear mine at work this week but the 4" double cuff didn't work well from a stealth POV
bit the bullet yesterday and took 3" off the inseam and sewed them up on my home machine, then threw them in a 40 wash.
im finding the opposite problem to most. They're about 1" too big in the waist, big hip flares and are bigger than my 20's.
Hopefull that the warm machine wash will bring them in a little.

No. 7 reporting for duty! Unfortunately my pockets aren't numbered / signed, but if that's all I have to complain about then I'm happy.
I'm happy with the fit of the jeans as I sized up. The jacket is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but I guess it's just some motivation to start running again.
Happy with the pocket bag lottery, even if tiger camo isn't historically accurate. Looking forward to this competition. Denim reminds me of the deadstock Denime I got a little while back.
Great photos pocket bag twin. apologies for quoting all of the photos again (I enjoyed seeing them twice)

For any other Husky folks out there.
38's Raw
waist 48cm measured across the top, seam to seam
rise from top of waistband to crotch seam 37cm
outseam 132cm
inseam 96cm ((diagonally)
leg opening 23cm
thigh 34cm at crotch seam
knee at 50cm from hem is 26cm
pocket bag from lower seam to bottom is 27cm
just put mine in a 60 degree machine wash to shrink. Probably won't see any detail of the patch again...

They shrunk quiet a bit in length but I never get my jeans hemmed for some reason, I really like the way the a lot of Japanese wear them.
Quite a lot like four inches? Or quite a lot like two inches? I'm hoping the former, with associated leg twist.

So what's the numbers on inseam shrinkage after soaking? I'm loathe tho hot soak mine prior to having a better understanding of the shrink. I was hoping for a 4" shrink. If they're only coming up 2" I'm tempted to get them hemmed prior to soaking to get the roping I enjoy so much on my 20s.

My tux arrived yesterday.
Weirdly in the opposite camp.
My 20s contest jeans are perfect. I sized down in the ww2's as I've lost a bit of weight and my same tagged 60s are far too big.
I was very nervous as I thought I may have gone a size too small, but mine are large, verging on clown pants. I also didn't hem as my 20s continued to shrink after several washes.
i can happily lose at least 2" in the waist and at least 5" in the hem (which is how my 20s shrank, tbh)
dont get your hopes up though lads, as they're 38w
my jacket is a perfect fit imho after OW but snugger than I expected for a 44
the denim is tremendous
i got the much discussed tiger stripe and ticking fabric pockets and am pretty happy.
my only regret will be if they really only shrink 2" on the inseam....I should have had a hem done by tcb.
photos to follow.

Currently in Wales but Jean's and jacket arrive at my home tomorrow. Having not seen my family for two weeks (and my mrs since the day of her (quite significant) birthday) I have to hold back my Jean's excitement- not easy

Mine should arrive by friday afternoon.
Which is nice.
Raw and unharmed, plus the jacket.
I say that like Richie Aprile

I love that patch, but am I the only one who is bothered by the prop setup on that plane? It's clearly modeled after a WWII single engine fighter/dive bomber/torpedo bomber(probably one of the latter two, given that there are two animals in the plane instead of only one), but then it has two extra props on the wings, but no engines and the center prop looks stationary.
Obviously this doesn't matter and it's still the best patch ever, but I can't help but think about that every time I see it
If it's anything like the tcb20s contest patch it will sadly become unreadable then disintegrate after a few washes. My contest patch is a distant memory.
And it never saw a dryer.

logging into sufu, after quite a while, I catch the buzz...and when did not needing another pair of jeans ever stop me?
ordered 34 rigid, hemmed to 30". (UK) Stoked to be part of this.
thanks for organising this @volvo240thebest I'll send you the details.
Looks like 2 pairs in the east Midlands. Who'd'a thunk it!

Ordered the full tux as the excitement and experience of the 20s contest Jean's placed heart before head.
Count me in.

Anyone know if they are willing to declare orders with lower value if you order from their english site?
They didn't with my last order and I got hammered. They may do if they're asked, I didn't ask as I'd hit lucky with the 20s contest Jeans

I'm all in for the two piece. Look forward to detail from TCb about the fabric shrink. My TCB20s contest jeans are perfect in terms of cut and fit, and happily the fabric shrank like mad allowing beautiful roping on all the seams. Conversely I bought the same size tcb60s and they don't really work for me (and are weirdly (imho) wider than my 20s)
I'm hoping the cut is narrower than the 20s but with a higher top block than the 60s. But I trust that they'll be a great cut from the video work so far.
If anyone has put on a few lbs (and were already on the "husky" side) during lockdown and wants to buy my unwashed raw tcb 60s. They're the 40w version.....
Before you laugh I wear a 36w in the vanity sized LVC...
My 40w 20s are comparable to 36w lvc, the 60s are very roomy now I've lost some weight

Anyone know whether any of the big e golden ticket jeans have been found? I'd guess the European release is the last 100 pairs or so?

Quick check in to enquire on patch destruction? Following my tcb20s disappearing patch, I've liberally doused my patch in moisturiser and leather creme prior to washing, and it's still toast after 3 washes.
havent used a dryer. Only washed at 40.
its going to fall apart by wash 6.
