to the issue at hand (hehe) - are you asking for narrower arm holed t shirts or something like a ribbed arm hole(like Merz do on their Henleys)?

Yeah just a narrower arm hole. I love the fit of the body, and to be honest there’s nothing really wrong with the arm holes on the 4601. It might be just that I’m an XL in the body, and an L in the arm.

I’ll take some pics tomorrow of what I mean, comparing the 4601 on me and then a different tee.

  2. Hey all,

Big apologies if this isn't the place to ask but feel free to direct me to the correct thread if so.

I've got a weeks worth rotation of Warehouse 4601 T-shirts which I've been wearing for a couple years and hard to argue with the quality and frankly how well they've worn even after washing after each wear.

However, although I don't mind the boxy fit in the body, whenever I put on a different shirt I'm reminded how much I'd like the sleeves just a little more fitted. I haven't got the arms to fill out any shirt to be honest but something that tents out a little less would be perfect.

Any other loop wheeled tees that are of the same quality but with a slightly different sleeve cut?

    Thanks.

  3. Sorry, I will use the correct thread next time.

mlyngard, thanks so much for the tips. Just picked up some Oni 506zr. I'm not sure the fit is really anything like the Tellason and they're almost certainly tapered but I absolutely love the denim and just had them hemmed so the fit/length is perfect.

  4. Hi there,

Does anyone know of a Japanese jean that fits like a straight leg version of the Tellason Elgin? I'm a pretty slim guy (6' - 160lb), and the Tellason Elgin fits perfect on the rise, and nice in the leg but I don't love the taper.

Ideally, a 15oz+ slubby Japanese denim with a similar rise and leg, but no taper. Happy to spend a fair bit on them if the fit is right.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

  5. So I'm by no means highly experienced in the raw denim world but I've just retired a pair of Japan Blue I picked up a few years back. Loved them, but wanted something new.

I visited a local denim store in London, walked out with a pair of 16oz Tellason Elgin. I wasn't really looking for tapered, but it's a subtle taper and I'm pretty skinny so with a few cuffs they look fairly straight. I LOVE the fit around the top, and I like the denim too.

However, a week after I got them, the decorative yellow thread across the back pocket came loose and basically unravelled to the point there's no yellow on one pocket now. I contacted the store, they inevitably said I must've caught it on something so I left it.

Now a couple months later and I noticed the yellow thread on the left front pocket has pulled and started to unravel too. By this point with daily wear, they're obviously getting nicely worn in but I'm kinda bummed that another thread is pulled.

I looked at my Japan Blue and they saw three years of almost daily, sometimes heavy wear and ALL of the stitching is intact.

So I'm thinking, has anyone else had QC issues with Tellason? Is the above something I need to get repaired if I plan to wear these for years to come or should I just suck it up and get some other pair to start again.

    Thanks
