really looking out for the P38 too, anyone know if these are made in Europe or PRC?

Likely EU based on the other stuff that dropped and didn’t go to retailers. Seems to be the new norm, retail stuff MiC and mothership exclusives MiE.

if jfs is on board definitely looking forward to see what she conjures up. might not be a bad idea to retire sisp if acronym are dropping out and hopefully jfs takes over. in the main sisp has had a glorious run but it’ll be good to see johanna wholly own a jfs x stone island collab without the spectre of acronym’s past looming over it with comparisons being made between past and present.

Idk would be sad to see the Shadow Project line go especially with what they’ve done over the past decade. Rather have the reins passed to JFS, looking forward to FW21 and future seasons. Should be refreshing to not see the same old glitch graphic garbage and wild colors Ian and Umit seemed to love. We might not see continued iterations of some of the products SP is known for but would expect some more wearable pieces.

I looked up what the 3A-9TS looks like and YIKES does that look awful to actually carry loads. When is E going to release the backpack shown in the GTKP photoshoots? At least with the 5/6TS you can use the stabilizer as a backpack strap. The whole ACR "no compromise design" is really compromising on real comfort at least when it comes to the bigger bag lineup...

You can ask Bagjack if these work @hentaiyarou69

Did you buy the same size in both? Based on measurements it seemed like the J68 fits a size smaller than the J58. I have a J58 in M, and was looking at buying the J68 in L.

Have both in the same size. Subjective, but I think the J58 is slightly warmer. The elastic hem really traps heat. Haven't had much time with the J68 so far so hard to say for sure.

What are your first impressions @wexler on the J68-PL? Hopefully my order lands today which has seemed like an eternity.

Nice piece, fairly versatile with how you can wear via the 2-way zip and snap closures. Seems pretty warm in my opinion but with the center snap closed you can dump heat (same with the sleeve zips) from the top and bottom while not having the jacket blown open when it's windy out. Shockcord adjusters on both sides can really tighten up the hem if you're cold. Hand pockets extend backward like most of their jackets. Chest pocket is essentially the size of that panel, excluding the top portion. I'll have to play around with it more but good impressions thus far.

    will try.

and occasionally, but not always (they de-centivise the boutiques having an online DTC set up. although that doesn't mean you can't email / call and buy direct that way)...

Yeah definitely, I know of a couple from buying over the years that had online stores but now are solely through farfetch.

I want to purchase the FW20 hat (N01A3 HOODIE) and the extendable hand gaiters (N02AE), both in black. Stone Island UK don't stock these nor are they able to order for me. I've tried Stone Island Italy but they will not ship to the UK. I've also had a little look around other UK stockists but to no glory. Does anyone know how I could get my hands on these?

They're up on ssense now as well. Should start trickling into other retailers.

despite the eye watering price i ended up getting this a few days back and would highly recommend it. the fit is fantastic... profile with a slight crop and just the right amount of room in the shoulders and arms. the red colour felt surprisingly wearable, but black was the one for me.

i'll happily proxy a couple of things from Europe to save any money going to those thieving price hikers Farfetch.

Let's see a fit pic plz.

You can always reverse search the images on Farfetch to see what boutique it is selling from. Then buy direct to skip the Farfetch tax.

Is there any expectation that the J89-AD will end up on any of the stockist sites anytime soon?

Mothership exclusive, no stockists will be carrying.

The zippers should all line up as I don't believe they use different size zippers for different sizes.

The aux zips differ between sizes as the collars are different widths. Its not a big deal (still works) you’ll just have a shorter/longer portion if you attach a liner of differing size to a shell or vice versa.

    Final post on this.
    1) I'm arguing that pricing matters to Acronym customers and enfin's replacement of ACR at firmament Berlin is an indication of that (the exact reasoning of which is unknown but for the sake of the argument I'm referring to their commercial success). Pricing matters: https://www.reddit.com/r/techwearclothing/search?q=enfin+leve+acronym&restrict_sr=on&include_over_18=on&sort=top&t=all

Using r/twc as any sort of qualifier...

They're not supposed to collect VAT for non-UK/EU purchases (and Hanon certainly didn't back in the day). I've previously brought this up with 18montrose and told them to politely fuck off when they refused to discount that on a US purchase. The retailer gets said VAT amount refunded from the local agency on these kinds of international sales, so it's some pretty un-ethical (and illegal?) profiteering on their part.

Plenty of other retailers out there, vote with your wallet-

Thinking montrose may have finally got scolded about this because based on the prices of the last few drops VAT has to be removed. I've had the same experience in the past, Hanon always did and 18montrose didn't for the longest time.
