@Rehnen1  Sorry for the late reply.

If they are tight at the waist I just wear them for a couple of months before washing.

If they are tight after washing I just pull them in and out (like you are clapping your hands) to loosen them up.

As long as there is plenty of length for length shrinkage and enough room in the thigh to pinch the denim between your fingers and thumb, they will be fine.

You have more than enough room in the thigh (more than I would have) so they might  not shrink enough for you and then end up too loose.

As long as you can do up the waist and fly buttons when they are raw (even if it is a struggle), they won't be too tight.

    Ultimately fit is personal choice.

     @Dry No worries. Thanks!
Like you said it’s a personal choice and it depends on what look you want.

I will try em on tomorrow and see how much shrinkage the first warm soak gave them.

@Rehnen1, if you want your legs to look like matchsticks, stick with what you have got. if you like the way they fit now before soaking, you will NOT like them when they shrink. the 1947's don't mess about! they turn into skinny jeans if you don't size up enough.

I did size up to W31.
I’m waiting for them to dry after a soak. And then I will see how they fit. Cross my fingers.

    Hi @Rehnen1

Those look like a great post-soak fit. I expect they’ll stretch out to their original waist early on, especially if you cold wash only and perhaps wear as they dry. But I think once they’ve fully shrunk (i.e. 6-10 washes later) they will be pretty uncomfortable. If the retailer can exchange for a 31 I think you’d be golden.

Good luck whichever way you go!

Haha this is always a hard choice for me when it’s comes to choose size. Don’t want them to stretch out and be too big like some of my other jeans.
But it’s of course better that they are a little to big than to small and unwearable.

Maybe I go with the W31....

    Thanks @unders  for the reply.

  4. @Dry do you use and stretch them before initial wash to?

Like I said mine fits tight in the waist but not that tight in thighs.
The size I bought are W30 L34 and they feels good. I don’t mind if they shrink some more in the thighs but there’s only a little room left in the waist.

I think I will try a W31 L34 to just see how they fit.

  5. Hi!
    another size advice question.

I bought a pair of 1947 shrink to fit 475010200.
Before any wash they sit tight in the waist and kinda what I want.

What can I expect in shrinkage after a wash and how much will the stretch after some wear?

I have read a lot in this thread already. But I’m asking because I tend to always buy to big jeans. They sit good in the waist after the wash but after a while they always stretches to much according to me.

So if I keep this size do you think they will be good after a wash and some usage so they will stretch?

Don’t want to buy a to big pair of jeans again

    Thanks!

  6. I don't know about the 107 either. But I have the 105 one wash size 3.

I didn't measure the waist when I got them. But if I look at a size chart they should have been around 86cm (34). I've been wearing them a lot, done a couple of washes some in 60C. But after wearing them a while after the wash the waist stretches out to 92cm. The same is with the thighs.

So in my opinion they do stretch out quite a bit after wearing.

those are pre-distressed 201, I bought a pair on sale at the time. Then I have a feeling I simply lost them. That's how much I liked them. it was mainly the fact they felt like wool fabric, they're so soft.

I do love the cut, though, I'm looking forward to wearing mine again when I've cycled through more of my stash. Probably in five years or so. I loved these jeans so much I had three pairs at one point, although I sold the raw, 555 pair here, shown with my surviving pair. 5a56964b8a544_201fit2.jpg.e71d6124301885e4cf83b5842a504b5c.jpgIMG_0413.jpg.a37142d964baac01c324c7527261a31c.jpg

    Thanks! Now I know.

    Yours look awesome!

I love the cut to! The fit of mine are perfect IMO. Do you know if you had the same size in the raw version? Maybe I need a pair...

Looking at the honeycombs, IMO they look too similar and "even" to be natural. I would say they are pre-distressed.

Maybe they are. The pocket bags doesn't seems to be that worn out either.

  9. I have a second hand pair of 1920's 201 that a bought on eBay a while back. Is there somehow I can tell if they had a "worn in look" when the where new or if they were a dark non wash/worn version?

Would be fun to know :D

boys help i want to order a lucky bag! the 50000 yen one how do i do it??

I don't know if you are subscriber on warehouse newsletter/mail. Since it's written in Japanese I'm usually use google translate. The translation isn't that good I suppose but you can get an idea of what the mail is about at least.

If I understand it correctly there are three different bags.
    10000 yen, 30000 yen and 50000 yen.

You write your top size and bottom size and then it's a surprise of what you get.
Here's the email where you send it to [email protected]

I'm not 100% sure if this is the way you do it. So the best way is maybe to ask warehouse directly.

I searched in this thread and saw that there are a few guys that have done this earlier. Maybe they know more about it.

But either way it's seems to a fun idea and you can score some unique pieces.

The sleeve and length is no problem if it shrinks. It's the shoulder and chest where it might be tight. But hey I just wear it and hopefully it will stretch! And like you say maybe cold wash.

    The shrinkage came out good!!

Didn't shrink much in the chest or shoulders.

@Rehnen1 just looking at the fit pics you look safe for a little shrinkage from both, perhaps just cool washes?

  13. Picked up my Warehouse stuff today. Ordered them from Warehouse website.

    Work shirt 3076 non wash
    Sweatshirt 404
    And a pair of socks

I'm also adding som fit pics.

    This is pre wash.

With the shirt I'm a little worried about the sizing since it's a non wash because it fits good in the shoulders and chest now.

Anyone now what I can do? Wash it and then wear it wet so it stretches?

The sweatshirt feels good in the fit. I don't know how it will fit after a wash. Love how the arms are sewn on the body.

    Warehouse work shirt 3076
    Size 40
    Pre wash
    Shoulder 48cm
    Armpit to armpit 56cm
    Length back 79cm
    Length front 72cm
    Sleeve from shoulder 68cm
    Sleeve from armpit 61cm

    Warehouse sweatshirt 404
    Size 42
    Armpit to armpit 61cm
Length front under collar 61cm (63.5cm)

Length back under collar 63cm (65.5cm

I actually recently picked up that version of the 3076 and have the 403 sweatshirt as well. Like mentioned before, the 42 in warehouse sweats feels equivalent to a US large in most other brands. The torso is cut a bit shorter, but the body is wide and the sleeves are appropriate in length. I'm 5'10 with a slim-ish build and the 42  falls right at my hips, with a comfortable bit of slouch on my shoulders (I prefer my sweats on the looser side). The shirt on the other hand, is indeed strange fitting, I originally planned to order a 42, but being able to try on the 40 I'm glad I decided otherwise. The shirt isn't necessarily super slim, but it is very long, especially the sleeves. I'm sure they will continue to shrink more as it's washed but the arm holes are cut a bit high and the sleeves themselves are somewhat slim (not as loose as you would expect on a work shirt) so this shirt could be troublesome for beefier builds

    hope that helps!

Thanks! Nice purchase!  Would love to see some pics or even fit pics of them.

I'm 6'1 with a kind of slim body as well. Chest measures 105 cm (41"). But I want the sweatshirt to be more a "normal" fit.

I did an order on warehouse website on this Thursday. 42 on the sweatshirt and 40 on shirt. But the sweatshirt were out of stock so have asked if the 404 in 42 is available instead. Hope so and I hope those sizes will be good for me.

I have the 401 in size 42 and I would say that it fits like a size Large in non denim relate brands if you know what I mean. It shrinks a bit after a wash.

    Thanks!

Than i guess 42 in 401 would be perfect.

  16. I'm planning on buying a warehouse denim work shirt lot 7036 non wash and warehouse sweatshirt lot 401.

Looked at the sizing chart for the ONE WASH version and size 40 seems to be kind of similar to fullcounts work shirt size 42.

Read somewhere in this thread that sizing of this on is a bit odd or something.

I think it's the same model @Syncd86 bought? (page 240)

I usually use size 42 and that's the size on my fullcount chambray work shirt.

Anyone has any experience with the sizing on one of these two?
