Acronym has always had quality issues like this.

I second that whole statement. The velcro cuff on my J1TS is coming unstitched and it wasn't from heavy use. It was probably from loose stitching straight from the factory... but everything else on the jacket is immaculate.

You gotta remind yourself that at the end of the day, there are people making this incredibly difficult stuff.

There's always going to be a certain level of human error involved. Embrace the wabi sabi.

  2. Anyone that rocks the beige tracksuit should be roasted on site. That is, if anyone actually buys it. The rest of the collection is tolerable, and dare I say, even satirical. Reminds me of recent C.E. releases...

That looks like a structural reinforcement part that works with the slide-shape back heel to allow your feet to slip in easier, which matches the consistant idea with all other acr collab shoes, the easy entry and take off.

E just confirmed this on Twitter. Acts as a built-in shoe horn.

  6. Does anyone know where the care tag instructions are on the J65-WS? I checked all the pockets and can't seem to find it. I'm assuming it's the same routine one would follow with a Grangers wash. I'm reluctant because it's padded. Any things I should avoid when washing Windstopper?

    Possibly an Undercover collab?

Half way there. I believe they're the UC x Soloist Converse. Big fan of the zippered lace lock.

  8. Hoping this will generate some discussion: Would anyone here describe Acronym as militaristic?

I would never deny the clear influence military garments have on the aesthetic, from color palette right down to bag hardware, but I was at a loss for words when describing the brand to another person without using the atypical jargon like "techwear" and "cyberpunk." Other brands like WTAPS and Visvim clearly reference military clothing but either refine or elevate it into fashion.

Curious to hear how the enthusiasts here define it.

would love to see more pictures of that UC jacket, is that the AW08 one? absolute grail

This is the only photo I have on my phone right now, but I'll upload some more on the weekend. Yup, AW08. It's gone through a couple owners and there's a couple dings and repair stitches here and there, but I can't complain. I just hope that the insulation will hold up over the years.

And tbh im really surprised the P30A sold out this fast. I thought most people already own one at this point and do not need the new iteration.

Same. I can understand the option of the new colorway, but do the addition of the raid pockets really add anything? Or was it just to meet the consumer demand? I have a pair of P24As and I'll sporadically use the raid pockets for storage but I mainly got them because of its maximalist pocket aesthetic. I doubt the raid pockets will even be seen on the P30As unless you're tucking a shirt in... Kudos to anyone that can pull off fit like that, but it just doesn't compute with me. lol

  12. The tees are kind of underwhelming imo. Would've liked to see a reissue of the tank tops... or in a perfect world, that elusive basketball jersey that was on Grailed at one point. I'm out on the general release stuff. Let the #teachwear virgins eat their cake.
