fuck me that MA1 looks good. Serious pre-2012 acr vibes.

As much as I love an MA-1 making a reappearance, I'm not really digging the profile fit of this current one. I much prefer the oversized/bulky fit of the J59TS - but to each their own. Wish I hadn't slept on that drop, so if anyone has one for sale, my DMs are open.

  2. Makes sense. A couple of the older product shots feature E wearing a pair of blazer lows with a personalized style of lacing. I wonder if that will be one of the features...

The hidden cargos on the rear concealed contents thanks to the wide cut, and could easily be shifted to the side when you sit.

I love the verticality of the rear cargos. Even when filled, it doesn't affect the silhouette of the pant or cause bulk in your ass. I found the contents tend to slide toward the back of your lower thigh. Pre-pandemic I could've snuck in two cans of Four Lokos depending on how lax the security was at the clubs. lol

Sidenote: Was anyone in this thread at the Lab (Orange County) last Saturday? Saw someone crossing the street wearing what appeared to be the J28-WS. I saw the ACR logo tape from a mile away. lol First time I've seen ACR serendipitously outside of organized Nike/SI events. Would've fondled you and your fit but I was in my car.

33’s and 31’s are all I’m wearing nowadays. P24 cut is nice, but DS blows Stotz away in terms of versatility.

I'm curious by what you mean by that? I know the patina might turn some people off, but I prefer the hand feel of Stotz over DS. I personally think it's more casual in way. Sometimes the GT and DS combo can feel like you're wearing a wetsuit with all the synthetic fibers.

P33 are a fantastic straight leg pant. I especially like that they don't have webbing sewn into hem, makes them sit really nicely on shoes.

Second this, especially on high top shoes like the AJ1s. Anyone here have fit pics with low top sneakers? There were pics months ago with some Vans Old Skools and it made me wanna get a pair. lol

I feel like pretty much every pant has a taper and it’s kind of unnecessary,

*Literally every Enfin Leve pant and dude who posts on the /techwear sub reddit page.

I tend to gravitate towards my P24As since they are a good middle ground between wideness and taper. I would love for them to do a wider pant. Something along the lines of a M-65 field trouser size.

Its still in my cart lol.

What's strange is that it's not appearing on the main mothersite page for me. But with a quick Google search, it reroutes me to the specific J33 page. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? I wonder if there are other products hidden...

thinking of the j1a, does anyone know if it'll be part of the next drop?

To add to that, does anybody know if there will be foil attachments as well? I've been patiently waiting for a silver foil 3A-MZ4 for some time now...

  8. Random thought: New pattern designs are made in Europe and subsequent releases are mass produced in China.

Example 1: 1st release of P30A-DS was made in Europe. 2nd release was made in China.

Example 2: 1st release J68-S was made in Europe. J68-PL was made in China (Can someone confirm this?).

Any neat details you guys will never fail to be impressed by? I'm sure the phone pocket is a big one

While I was traveling, I found the waist pockets on my J1TS-S really usefully for storing stuff. Because they wrap around to the back, I didn't have to worry about items bulking in the front. Also thought I lost my water bottle a couple times. lol

Additionally, the waist pockets have a small tab in the interior for your fingers to cling to. I might just be looking too deeply into it, but the pocket feels less like a bottomless void and like a more tangible storage space when you're resting your hands in there. Whether that was the intention or not, I was impressed by it nonetheless.

So did Hugh purposely release a shitty version of the NG3/NG4 for this reason? LOL

I don't get the thought process.

Why would you make a bag out of foil sail cloth when it's just going to flake off?

    The same reason: experimentation.

Acronym didn't get where it is today by relying on conventions. But I partially agree with you as a NG4-AK owner. The material is rather delicate.

J77-AM: This was the piece I was most tempted to purchase aside from the J29. I tried it on over a black buttondown, and it looked great. The hood is not bulky at all, so I didn't mind it being attached to the sweater. My favorite detail was the shoulder pockets; they give it a bit of an aggressive silhouette without being over the top. I don't know how this would look with something other than a long-sleeve black shirt under it, and the price feels a bit too high for what it is, but I did quite like this one.

Since it's technically wool, do you expect any overheating issues or do the perforations offset that? I'm excited to feel the fabric in person.

Hey guys, just wondering if there are any spots that might carry ACR in Japan as I'm heading there next week. Especially any used stores anyone might recommend.

If you're in Tokyo check out Eliminator. Last time I was there, they were carrying ACR...
