For me, Bamba 3's run half a size small. I tried it on and it felt a little too cramped on my right foot, albeit okay on my left but of course you have to size for your bigger foot. After a few minutes it did feel a little better but it was just a tad too small. In contrast to this, I know others who took the same size they took in the Bamba 2's...

Ordered and received the black dyed bamba 3 from Yoshiii (thanks again sir!); went same size as my bamba 2 and kind of wish I had sized up as he suggested before. The toe box is just a tad restrictive on the B3 (whereas I have room to spare on the B2). I bet a shoe stretcher would help though, am going to give that a go. Also, another thing I wasn't quite expecting is that the sole is aggressively tapered and narrow in the middle; for those with low arches/wide feet like me, this may not give you the best medial support. Still very psyched with shoe; just won't use as a daily beater.

  2. Anyone have any success with getting recent stotz pants with HTS duties less than 16% (6203.42.45)? The cotton composition and lack of any synthetics/plumage really seem to limit any alternate codes. My assigned customs agent refused everything else haha. My duties for the P10-S's came out to 212$.

  3. Recently picked up both indisce blazer and pants in navy blue. Agree with all the comments above; as someone employed in a very conservative field (health care) where non-conformity draws unwanted attention, I wouldn't wear either to a job interview. I mean, it might be ok depending on what industry you're in, but why risk anything if you're serious about the job?

  4. Just wanted to echo similarly poor experience with Cruvoir. Ordered Indisce pants during their sale last month thinking they were in stock. Received multiple "progress" emails like "awaiting stock from our Canadian supplier" and "your order is clearing customs and will be mailed out next week". Then 3 weeks after ordering, I received an order cancellation due to being "out of stock" and was given online store credit...which I quickly contested.

  5. Quite a few new items up on SISP site. Maroon bomber, and an anorak. I'm actually really digging some of the metallic dyes this season.

I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has seen the darker colored 40502 (down mid-length jacket) in person, and if it is more of a brown or crazy purple hue (SISP and End have listed it differently, and I'm color-stupid).

Hello fellow Seattleite! Best techwear city for actually utilizing the weatherproofing!

It's been so hot recently though; I'm really looking forward to F/W when I can actually use most of my gear. I really need to find more summer-friendly options.

Hahaha Now imagine a city with more rain

    it is called:

    "Vancouver"

How are them wildfires working out for you guys? ;) Although, we apparently have our own out in central WA that were started by cats + power-lines (RIP).

  7. NOT a tinder profile ;)

Author: David; Seattle, WA. Surgeon/wannabe neuroscientist. In another life? Possibly less of a wannabe scientist. More mind-controlled robots, less cutting.

Background: At the risk of sounding derivative…GiTS (o.g. movie, manga, and SAC), 1980/90’s Anime, William Gibson (Pattern Recognition), Shadowrun, Drum and Bass, Blade Runner, Alan Moore, sci-fi that involves Chernobyl, lots of video games, print collecting/Mondo…and yes, the whole trainers/Supreme fad that lasted for me from 2013-2015. We all deserve second chances, right?

Abstract: I'm a tech wear newbie. A lot of the discussions here re. fabric sound way more complicated than the tools I use at work. Figuring out empirically how a piece of tech wear's design into something purposeful and aesthetically pleasing...is pretty neato, since there isn't exactly a textbook on it (it makes me feel like a smarty!) I like how this encourages a more thoughtful relationship with your clothing/the products you own+consume.

Conclusion: The persistent feeling of being an adult male in very, very expensive cosplay...feels weird.

KMTR's just arrived, went with my true size and they're totally too big.

Is anyone else surprised with how they feel in hand? They just feel a little flimsy imo, granted they were one of the cheaper pieces from the collection, i guess i just raised my hopes a little too high

I agree, they don't seem to have a really substantive feel. I'm guessing the ripstop material on the tongue/upper is the same as that used in the 3 in 1 cap? Also I'm finding that the ripstop sort of wrinkles up and you can't really easily straighten them out. I think the cord tension only really shapes the shoe anterior-posterior and doesn't do much laterally, and the buckle only does so much.

Does anyone have any first-hand experience with the cargo pants or the hoodies?

Is there going to be any other stores dropping the shoes later today/in the future that any one is aware of? I'm not about that waking up at 3am for a pair of shoes life anymore and missed these.

I believe Kith, Ubiq, and notre are dropping Friday online.

  10. Greetings from Seattle. Acr noobie here looking for his first outerwear piece. I'm considering a J47R since I love the less aggressive styling, however as noted before, it lacks an escape zipper. To me (a noob), it just seems too iconic to miss. It having the higher price tag also has me questioning whether it would be wiser to simply search for the older J47 through resellers. Or just wait for the next release. Anyone have any insight for me?
