thanks, just gonna power through it...the fit is very flattering otherwise and i can see why they're such a favorite also got some 30s and not seeing a lot of photos or talk on here about those - happy to share if anyone wants to know they're a nice wider fit and the denim is super substantial

on the topic of 50s, does anyone else get this weird bagginess around the crotch? not sure what to do this person on reddit seems to have it too

Selling my Warehouse 1001X-25 (25th Anniversary 1950 Model) in size 34. They have a stitched down red tab and both arcs. Gave these a very hot soak and tried my best to retain all indigo while shrinking them down to my 32 size - alas the back rise is still too high for me. The waist shrank down quite a bit but it's banner denim so should easily stretch back to size. Would be best for someone with a 33/34 waist. Tried on and moved around, but never wore them. Asking $250, paid $350 from Signet 🫠 Measurements in cm: Waist 41 Front Rise 31 Back Rise 41 Thigh 32.5 Inseam 81 Hem 22.5

it's so counterintuitive, the 47s and 54s have "banner denim" but they seem to fade with relatively low contrast and 220A fades look very similar to how actual WH banner denim fades... anyway, as much as I don't want blankets on my legs for summer in NYC, I went with the 220A...pray for me

@Alec Leamas would you recommend these or 220a more? any updates on how these have faded? i love how 220a's fade but also like a lighter fabric.. mostly wondering if they get the same level of contrast and marbling

goodness 1 month?? @beautiful_FrEaK’s 220As have really nice marbling too - but i think my biggest reservation which he also noted for those is that the rise is fairly high? and how’s the pocket depth on these?

Looking for a repro pair with - a red tag - 13-14oz denim that marbles and fades quickly (i know i know... i have some slow faders already and i want something rewarding) - med-high rise - as straight as possible from knee down anyone have any recs? considered so far: - warehouse 1001xx: banner denim seems ideal for me but the WH cuts are all so tapered. Got a 25th anniversary 50s pair 2 sizes up in hopes of making it work but alas...the rise is too much. also wasn't a fan of the shallow pocket bags - tcb: the brand + story is charming and the 50s cut seems wonderful but seems too soft to fade the way i want, maybe the 40s? - denime 220A - freewheelers

thanks!! the full count fabric is very nice but doesn’t fade with enough contrast for my taste so that’s very helpful to know in my head, the banner denim feels quite “papery” when new - almost like cardboard and combined with the rough/uneven nature results in the contrasting fades even with very frequent washes - is that wrong?

how rough is the 50s denim? looking for something that fades/marbles similar to WH and i really like the cut of the 50s

Would anyone know what Warehouse's widest/straightest cut is? Recently picked up some 1001XX-25 from Signet looking for a true straight and am quite disappointed in the cut 😕 It's very roomy in the top block and tapers quite aggressively... The banner denim is lovely in person though

Late to the Tender party - learned about this brand a few weeks ago. Got a pair of saddened wattle dyed 136 jeans from neighbour. Bill was super responsive to some of my questions on ig 😌 Rare to see this level of customer engagement. Some wears and washes later, the color’s setting in really nicely and the lovely marbling is starting to show.
