What would be the proper procedure for tapering a pair of veilance pants? I would think you'd need to untape the seam, taper, hem for length, and then retape the new seam?
I believe that might be the proper procedure but I can't confirm I am neither a pattern maker or understand how to sew with windstopper laminate. All I know is adding a new seam is definitely not the way to go

a bit absurd on both pricing considering missing bag and spec sheet*Did not see the request for black colour sorry about that*

Thanks a ton man. I just found your original posting, you shipped them to Asia for $250? This guy is a prick, profiteering like this is not cool.
Did your pants delam because the taper seam put unnecessary stress on the fabric?
Yeup i shipped them to Taiwan for $250 I had to risk it and ship without tracking which was reasonable priced ($25 cad). I don't mind that he's profiting whatsoever it's the fact that he doesn't list it with accurate information in regards to the condition of the pants thus tricking buyers thinking they're buying a new pair.
they delam'd because the seam caused uneven strain on the fabric from walking (back of the knee is where pretty much all the delamination occurred ~ maximum strain)1 -

Field pant owners, how often do you wash your pants? There was a pair on Grailed with serious delamination. I would like to avoid it if possible
That would be my pair and actually the guy who bought it from me put it on grailed again but for $200 more than what I sold it. The reason it delam'd was because I had the pants tapered from the knee to the hem without proper procedure. My tailor added a seam along the back of the leg where it's a bit hidden. Fit wise it worked however the fabric was noticeably affected by the alteration. It delam'd very slightly at first but as time went by as I kept wearing the pants continuously, the delamination got worse.
Your pair will not delam in any sort of way mine did. Follow similar goretex care instruction if you're wearing it constantly wash at least once a month.

My local SISP shop got the convert cargos for 50% off. Worth coping? As an investment.
I don't see why not. Covert cargos are pretty coveted

Anyone else here have the dyadic comp pants and wouldn't mind posting fit pics and comment sizing?

kinda making me want a field LT or partition LT but i really dont need any more shells lol
tbh, sequent pants are kinda whatever. maybe if you can get a good fit it's worth it? zippered flapped hand pockets arent the most comfortable either, but I get that they're the most waterproof construction
can you compare the fit of convex LT to voronoi in terratex?
just tried the dyadic comp hoody actually. the black one has like.. a beige merino interior. I don't know if it's the shoulder articulation that makes bringing up the arms weird, but when I bend my elbows and raise them to shoulder height (think like a front squat with a barbell), its tight/pulls on the tips of my elbows. really weird. the body doesn't feel wide compared to the graph to me, maybe the cardigan, but not the sweater. i also dont feel the dyadic series is that light. for some reason they feel pretty heavy actually. i dont find it hangs bulky or boxy though. i was most hype for this but it's kinda just whatever. it is very very similar to my slocan hoody from mainline but heavier lol
Convex LT fits much slimmer around the thigh + seat area, minimal/no knee bagging and less tapered than the voronois

Could you comment on how slim this is compared to Arris? Would you recomend to size up like with Mionn?
Not as fitted as the Arris per say but still fits TTS.

What makes you think they are new P10s? From the image, they look identical to P10s from previous seasons to me.
CH pants have traditionally been released in two colors: 'Black' and 'Night'. The second image you posted is the P10-CH in 'Black'. The new pair you are questioning, if they are in fact CH, would be in 'Night'.
I believe the 2nd picture might actually stotz instead of CH as the fabric stacking around the ankles and the way the knee articulation retaining it shape shows how stiff the fabric is. My usual tell tale is Stotz really fleshed out the knee bagging while Ch and dryskin features alot more drapiness

Whats new with the Field LT? Someone please inform me!
Fits slimmer than regular spring/summer field jacket. Very reminiscent to the 2015 field jacket LT. Slightly slanted pockets, slightly smaller pockets (imo they seem smaller), no waist cord, nylon face fabric not that rough texture anymore, and no more wrist adjusters

Looking good. How tall are you and what size are you wearing?
...from the photos it’s hard to tell if it’s rather grey-white or light blue... I‘d probably tend to call it grey-white.
It's more of a light blue

no it's a typo, i dont think the product page is finalized
Field Overshirt will return but in dark navy instead of mid navy. ash and black return
Field LT is like the regular field shell, but it forgoes that textured/rough face fabric for a soft, smooth 40d face. i think it's regular gore 3L, not c-knit. and the top security flak pockets are angled ever so slightly like the haedn overshirt. and i think the back doesn't have the shooting shoulder articulation (dont remember if the old field shell had it either).
@lesteel those are my 3 favorite frame tee colors lol. nice
Field LT this season i believe doesn't have the angled pockets or atleast that's what I can see from: http://www.metropolitansociety.co/blog/arcteryx-veilance-ss18

Just bought a ds lunar force multi color size us 8, had a crimson before on size us 8.5, fits like a glove so im confident in sizing down, but as i tried these on (multi color), they were a bit too tight, will they break in eventually? (Since its not all leather)
cheers
I'm a TTS 9 and I went with a US 8 multis, it broke in after a month or so of heavy wear. Width wise the leather will loosen up however length wise has no give whatsoever

Anyone have experience with Salomon wings pro 2 shoes in terms of sizing (length and width wise)? Saw the broken arm colourway and fell in love with it however I'm unsure if these are similar to the speedcross 4's narrow toebox.

So would you guys say the indisce blazer/pant combo is formal enough for interviews as well?
I'm just saying why wear it for interviews and not a casual suit that you can pick up for 1/4 or even less of the price

Can someone fill me in what's the big deal about the sequent pants? I find it uncomfortable to wear Goretex pants even if it's C-knit.

For some reason my local Nike website has released the ACG collection online earlier than in the US and Europe. Got my cargoes today and the material has an ultra soft feel yet has the needed rigidity to hold shape. Sorry I can post an nice pic, also no full mirror in my office to show the fit. I find the fit is the same as the past versions according the the same size I bought before. The right thigh drapes a little differently due to the extra zip and pocket connected to the main cargo pocket, no issue to me but some might want to note.
what's the fabric composition?

Hi.
I got an field pant in peat. It's one of my favorite pants. I'm still struggling with myself to get another one in black. The field feels quite different to all my other veilance pants as it has a quite straight fit without any articulation but still it goes very well with all the other AV pieces.
I can only recommend you to get one.
May I ask what does your tag say in regards to the fabric composition of the pants, mine for some reason says 94% nylon 6% elastane which is quite different than what AV has on the site
