  1. i'm fairly certain the escape zip is a feature made possible by plastics. the tolerances of metal are far too high to allow for repative de-tracking. plastics ability to deform but return to the original state enables the zipper to forcibly de-track. you can do it will a metal zipper.. once. then u have a broken jacket.

Wanna confirm 100% the J47R-GT does not have an escape zip? Even acrnm.com says it does in one part.

negative. feels fantastic though. like 3A-1.

  3. J1TS-S raf/blk, P10TS-DS, J47R-GT, S19-DS all in hand, AMA cucks

  4. do all these retailers charge the same amount for these garments? wondering if any retailers are cheaper? not sure if this is a dumb question. if there are differences in price.. does anyone have an account of the prices at the different retailers?

    Used to happen every year...

however, I was in talks with bagjack about getting a few X-PAC accessories, they told me all they're "working" closely with acronym and only use X-PAC for their products.  Not sure what that means, if it's a licensing thing or actually production. Guess only time will tell.

i was speaking specifically to a restock of the full 2013 bag accessory line never happening again as was wished for

  6. Sorry if this is already answered, but does this mean that the current season ACG Metamorphosis insulator is compatible with the Acronym shells (like the J1A-GT?)

yes it would be, at least as far as the collar zipper is concerned. dimensionality may be a different story as i'm sure attention to the cut of the insulator is considered in the design.

  7. It's your duty as importer. As a customer service it'd be nice but the legal responsibility is yours. The only people getting loot of this is the Federal government. Despite this tariffs account for only 1–1.3% of gross revenues. This will go to you in the form of services. But in all seriousness, ACRNM should really put WATERPROOF SYNTHETIC/WATER RESISTANT COTTON on their exports for our sake.

They really should have something place to explain and prepare buyers for this.. not just some page on the website; a disclaimer with every purchase..

  8. I am glad to save other ACR heads some $!

why doesn't acr have this figured out? paid $330 cod for my already $1200 j1a-gt.  can i call after the fact and perhaps get some of that money back?

  9. chaged $327 USD COD straight from acronym to a residential address.. never happened before. also little to no customer service infrastructure set up to handle this - which is generally considered bad business.

anyone have insight? or had this happen to them?

  10. checking in. 3A-1 is stunning. felt suspiciously comfortable. like an old friend whose arm you're used to having around your shoulder. perhaps from years of a guitar strap. it was at that point the piece transcended an emotional/physical plane. an acute sensitivity for sensibility. the simple beauty of reductivism where it counts. lines and priorities you never realized were out of order, sculpted with you in mind. bearing witness to a beautiful, perhaps priceless moment.
