  1. Replacing the heels is not expensive.

    Brian The Bootmaker, or original manufacturer are good choices based upon your location.

    An experienced cobbler can do it as well, but ask first. Any wishy washy answers, move on to the next guy.

    I also replace probably two - three heels at least, before a resole.

  2. I'm getting high contrast, fast fades on the UHR denim. Is that 21oz you're talking about?

    I don't count the number of days worn, but my IH DWCXUHR seem to fade faster than my Samurai Denimio Geisha. I did do a lot of bicycle riding early in the life of my DWCXUHR.

  3. Mine are showing signs of wear much slower than what I see here. But I wear mine Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only.

    @spitfiredealer they can be warm. They don't seem to breathe as well as the 21oz and 25oz pairs I wear. Tighter weave?(if there is such a thing). If so, I think that is why I like the character and texture of these so much.

    I need a matching jacket for my morning bicycle rides.
