  1. Size 7 can look like clown shoes? Try having size 13 shoes! They look fine. A quater inch of extra space is not really an excessive amount... You don't want your toes to touch the end of the shoes, right? Do the shoes flop around when you walk? But really, the only person that can tell you if your shoes fit you is yourself.

  2. Send it back man! Get the 40. I think the it's that the arm holes are really high? I'm same size chest as you, I ordered the other version in 38 and had same problem. It looked like it fit but armpits were uncomfortable. the size 40 is so comfortable and looks great. There is not a huge difference between sizes. And you can always give the sleeves a little cuff if they are too long.

  3. Lot 64: Uncle Sam Issue or Californian Lot 64: Okinawa Issue, which ones should I get?

Now that we have seen both pairs on this page the obvious answer is... Both. Really can't go wrong with either the SC1966 denim or the Okinawa denim. Get both!

  4. Goodrain those sweatshirts shrink a ton in length with a machine wash and tumble dry. I think the rakuten measurements reflect what they will measure after full shrinkage. Check out how small the indigo sweats measure compared to an unwashed crew in the same size. Those indigo sweats have been hot washed and dried. Any other difference in measurements between self edge and rakuten probably just comes from different measuring methods. And you should definitely get one. They are amazing.

  5. Perfect fit on that, pudaspriest! I've been meaning to pick up one of those Deluxeware sweats. Did you get it from 2nd? How did you choose your size? I wear Medium in Real McCoy Ball Park, Large in Strike Gold sweat, Large in Samurai loopwheeled sweat... Also, any shrinkage (if you've washed it yet)? Thanks dude!

  6. Been tracking my 50s jacket, shipped ems. Shipping status says "returned to sender". Has anyone experienced that?

Go to your post office! Or at least give them a call. I had the same thing happen once with an EMS package. It made it all the way to my local post office, then instead of saying "out for delivery" it said "return to sender".  The sender had printed my address wrong, it wasn't really anything major, just transposed some numbers or something, but the post office was getting ready to send it back to Japan. I was able to pick it up in person before it got sent back. Good luck.

  7. I personally would return it, but I don't like stuff to be that close fitting. I had a SG crew neck sweat that fit like your hoody fits, I was able to stretch it a fair amount but I was never happy with it, always having to tug at the sleeves and the hem. I ended up selling and getting the next size up and it's a much better fit. And I like sweats that I can machine wash and dry whenever without having to worry about them shrinking back too much... I guess it just depends on what kind of fit you prefer. Have you checked out the Joe McCoy Ball Park sweats? Their zip up hooded sweatshirt is very similar in style to the SG - same type of pockets, raglan sleeves, very dense fleece - but more generously sized... They have a navy one, or you could indigo-dye a grey one if you must have indigo...

  8. I think you should definitely size up. It's true that it will stretch some, and it won't ever get smaller than it is now-even after washing and tumble dry... But to me that looks too small. is it comfortable? It looks like it's not.

  9. Mrwest I have that SExIH jacket with the gray weft and it's great. I posted som pre and post soak pics on the iron heart forum back around February. It's a got a nice slim fit and the extra length is perfect if you're a tall dude. It also has a really small cuff opening, which you might appreciate.

  10. MrWest I think that jacket looks pretty good. Seems like if you sized down the sleeves would be too short and waist would be too tight. I wouldn't waste money trying to alter it. The sleeves will look fine once you break it in and get some creases. Or is it just the large cuff opening that is bothering you?... I guess you could add a button on the cuff so that the cuff is tighter? But again, why waste money altering it? Just get a different jacket if you don't like the fit.

  11. Are you usually a 40 in flat head stuff jeef1?

Yeah size 40 for FH workshirts. I'm 6'1", about 38" chest. I wear 42 in FH T shirts, probably could do 40, but don't like them to be too tight.

  12. You may lose a lot on a sweater like that trying to resell it, just exchange it for a size down.

Bought it off Rakuten so no returns. Oh well, it's a nice sweater and if I can't get my money back I'll be happy to wear it. Does Self Edge ever get any Flat Head sweats other than the zip up ones? I would much rather buy in person.

  13. Got a cool Glory Park sweatshirt today

Got a size 42, probably could have gone size 40 or even 38, though it might have ended up too short. Very boxy fit, 22" chest; 21" shoulder, very tight hem. Not sure if I'm going to keep it yet, love the fabric and print, not crazy about the fit...

  14. I bought a Cushman off Rakuten from Jeans Shop VARI. If you get your normal size it will fit like it does on their models. I sized up one because those sweatshirts are kind of short and I'm about 6'1". It doesn't feel too boxy. Their size charts were accurate and the shipping was extremely fast. One thing about the Cushman sweats is they have a really small neck opening.
