  1. They shrink almost a whole size. I think the Warehouse web shop lists amounts it will shrink in all directions after a wash. They shrink a little bit more if you tumble dry them.

  2. Yeah that was me! I would have chatted about TCB. You should check out the Freewheelers 1947 and 1951 jeans, too. Longer inseam and higher rise than the TCB 50s and 60s, which is important to me.

  3. I was walking around Silver lake yesterday in the TCB western shirt and Freewheelers 1947s... where were you? We were at Dinosaur Coffee and walking around Sunset...

  4. Fooleo definitely go 32 on the pants. You could probably go with a 38 on the jacket. My 38 measurements: chest 21"; shoulders 19"; sleeve 24.25"; length down center back 27"

  5. The new 40's caps look really nice. Just sent an email to Inoue to order a couple. Really like the look of the back sateen and the chocolate duck.

  6. Gnomes, probably either size will work for you. The rise is really high so I guess that's something to consider when deciding waist size. My size 32 never really gets smaller than 33" in the waist and there is tons of room in the top block, so if you're actual waist is 33 I think you'll be fine. Or size up and wear a belt. You live in Oakland? Me too, maybe I will punch you in the face for asking size questions...

  7. They are once washed. My size 32 measure 33" in the waist and 13" front rise. Let me know if you need other measurements. Mine didn't shrink at all after a warm machine wash.

  8. TCB seamans trousers are my current favorite jeans. Perfect for summer. Nice lightweight denim that still has good texture. And I love the fit. I had been hesitant about buying them because I thought the inseam was super short for some reason, which is not the case. FW 1947 are still my all time favorite jeans, but I'm really enjoying wearing these and they are a great price, too.

  9. Yeah, I was surprised how light and thin the denim feels. Nice for California weather. I went ahead and ordered the chambray, too...

  10. In the meantime just received my Ranchman, not sure about the fit (very lovely denim though). Thoughts?

Looks like it fits, how's it feel? I just got my size 42. Glad I didn't go with 40. It's very comfortable, I have plenty of room in the chest but still looks like a slim fit. I actually like how there is not an extra button on the bottom. It makes it look just slightly off in an endearing way... And really, because of the length of the shirt and the amount of taper, if it had another button, most of us would have to leave it undone anyway.

  11. Thanks guys! Just ordered the 42 from Denimio. Almost too cheap... Never used Denimio before. Would rather have bought it from Standard and Strange, which I can walk to, but I don't think they are actually going to ever carry it.

  12. Thanks goodrain! Measurements for 40 look OK, I'll probably go with a 42, though. The arm holes look high on the shirt, don't want to feel constricted anywhere... One last question, from the US can you buy directly from there website, or do you have to request a sale through email?

  13. Are TCB's size charts for the ranchman shirts accurate? size 40 looks right to me but I remember back when people did the group buy a lot of people had sizing issues? Anybody with a size 40 or 42 able to give me their own measurements? Much appreciated.

  14. Go with XL. They shrink quite a bit, mostly in sleeve lenght and body length. I have two, one that I tumble dried, one that I just hung to dry. I can get you actual measurements later if necessary.
