Does anyone wear an Acronym shell over a Veilance insulator? Did you have to size up on the shell? Wondering how a J1A would fit over a Mionn IS...

Not sure if you are referring to the Mionn IS vest or jacket, but I wear a medium Mionn IS vest under a large J1A-GT . Depends on your layering strategy, but I opted to have the vest a little more fitted as it provides better heat retention. Gets a little tricky considering the Mionn jacket when sleeve length is a factor; would get a large under those circumstances. Might help to note that I'm tall with a slender build.  

I know it's not a very popular piece but did anyone here bother with the J50-S? I'm not sure if it's just me but the zip seems like the worst thing ever. I've had two now and it requires hair-pin precision to line it up and zip it which is really irritating, especially at the inflated price.

One thing I always liked about buying Acronym was every single feature for me always worked flawlessly out of the pack and I didn't have to worry about fussy zippers or battling any aspect of the clothing to use it properly. I just grabbed it, started using and abusing it and it held up. That was one of the reasons I didn't mind the price tag. I've had 3 items in this last collection that had to go back due to issues that seem to be production/design type flaws so I'm feeling a bit disappointed right now. I hope this is just a bad run as I love the gear still more than ever without these glitches.

The Raccagni zipper assembly on the J50-S has been a nightmare. Right out the bag I experienced constant zipper-mismatching until it finally caught a snag and locked into place; had to devote about 45 minutes to remove the zipperstops to re-position the puller. Will play a huge factor in considering a non-Vislon acrnm jacket henceforth. 

I suggest you be there at the birth of hip-hop and sneaker (trainer) culture like me and stfu!

Are you going to tell us next how movie tickets used to cost a nickel? 

We are probably around the same age dude; besides, just because you were alive during the 80s doesn't mean your opinion is that much more valid than say someone who wasn't.

I suggest you do a little research on Spike Lee to learn exactly how he has contributed to sneaker culture. Maybe then you'll consider letting him wear a pair of AP1's however he wants to wear them.

Anyone have recommendations for a good pair of winter boots that perform well in snow but also hold up to the acr aesthetic?

anyone who bought anything recently from acrnm.com (within past 5 days) have received their shipping notice?

 

i placed an order over the weekend and was sent a shipping notice on monday, but its been 2 days and UPS shows that its not been picked up yet, though an email to acrnm.com and i got a reply saying that it was picked up and for orders >1000eu outside the EU UPS needs 1-3 days to process customs approval = no status update now.

 

to be honest, thats the first time I've heard of this. from personal experienced and confirmed by a call to UPS said that there should be a pickup scan regardless of the need to process customs approval or not, as that will be done in the background simultaneously.

yea but i dont even have the pickup scan now on mine, which is usually done once the courier picks it up and scans the barcode on the spot?

anyway heard from another sufu member that apparently its common for it to take around 2 days before it appeara for some weird reason..

Placed an order for my J1A-GT from acrnm.com around two weeks ago to be delivered to the United States and tracking read 'label created, awaiting pickup etc' for a solid week before tracking finally indicated it was in transit. Order was valued at over 1000 euros, but didn't spend more than 12 hours total going through German and US customs inspections.

Hoping to get some sizing help on a J1A. I'm 6'4' and on the slender side. Checked the dims on acrnm but some of the figures seem off when compared to a few of my other jackets. Leaning towards a L, but wanted to check with the community and see what you guys think. Thanks fellas.

Anyone have experience altering their acr pants, given the intricate stitching composition? Received my P24's yesterday; was initially debating between a M and L, ended up opting for a L for the added overall length (I'm 6'4" with a 32" waist). Consequently the waist is too large with a little too much slack around my thighs. Would a medium perhaps work better? Thanks in advance.

If you guys only knew how much the markup is on those 3A-MZ3's (material + labor), you probably wouldn't be so happy paying 200+ euros for a pair. Makes movie theatre popcorn sound like a bargain.

A lot of conflicting testimonies on here surrounding the Presto sizing and fit. Could someone who owns a pair (or three) please clarify for those of us who might not have the opportunity to try them on in advance? Also, 'size-up' and 'size-down' don't seem to help when one is trying to establish their 'true'/point of reference within the Presto sizing spectrum and logic.
