IMO, all the NG4 has going for it is that it provides an alternative 'gaiter' experience by peeling off into a collar-like form factor. I'm not convinced that it is practical for 'venting' or for putting on a N95 - especially since the NG4 covers your ears (if you're wearing a NG5/NG8, you literally just pull it down/up to quickly perform this task). Not to mention a heavy-duty metal zipper resting on your nose and clicking-and-clacking with every forward motion is not a particularly desirable experience (personally) and the primary reason why I would consider the NG4 an aesthetically-driven piece.

Who would've thought the least expensive acrnm product with the most demand would attract flippers?

V5-PX looks different on Lenny vs E. If it's not a suffix error in the caption, then it looks to be reversible.

Can't recall what 3A-2 retailed for, but happy to add towards difference

Much welcomed loose fit on the J1A -- never personally liked the fit on the later iterations. Also digging the return of the old-school flap on the flak pocket; hated the look of the exposed zipper on the last one.
That said, it sounds crazy, but I think I'm at the point where the exposed zipper designs of late have been holding me back from acquiring a lot of the newer pieces. Aquaguard coils are an absolute pain-in-the-ass to open with one hand and always feel like the zipper pull is about snap off when I try to do so.

I hate that I can't tell if this is supposed to be a joke

There’s got to be more than just graphic tees and merchandise for FW2122, right? Unless acr had their share of supply chain/logistical woes?

Genuine question: Is there no neg-rep limit on sufu that would see to someone being banned?

J56 is a super intelligent design. Pocket array is really well executed. But yeah, nothing for me in this drop. I die a little at every release that doesn’t include a J4TS.

S8-DS (SS19)
Price 673 Euros
Yes, it sold out eventually, but within months. Not comparable to the S24.
That's what I thought. Doesn't help much to reference a sales performance from two years ago as an answer to a current-day question.
That being said, I did not recall the S8 going for that amount -- truly wild. By that logic it makes little sense as to why the latest shirt would retail for substantially less, other than perhaps not being made in the EU?

Oh it was the T-shirts that gave it away? Not the 700 dollar tank tops eventually selling out? lol
When were there tank tops?

If there was any question whether the hysteria surrounding the brand was still alive, the answer came in the form of tshirts selling out at $400 each.

No, I don't think this is right. I've owned a silver foil, a black foil, and a green regular (with the current "foil" reverse face) and they are all obviously of different durabilities. The silver foil is incredibly fragile, but even the black is much less rigid than the back-face of the green xpac. The current "foil" seems to be laminated in some way that makes it much tougher (and more rigid).
It sounds like you are using the term 'durability' to describe the rigidity/pliability of the overall material and not the resilience of the foil/glossy side of the material against de-lamination/peeling (as was frequently highlighted here in the past).

On the bright side, looks like the foil is just reversed xpac, which should be way more durable than the previous foil.
Foil was always just reversed xpac. Durability (or lack of) will be the same.

Yikes, that 3A-1 multi with canvas-faced xpac is comically bad. Think I'm about ready for this 'multi' phase to pass.

Yeah, was kind of annoyed when I learned the J28-WS doesn't feature a two-way zipper. Thought it would've been typical by now since every other acr jacket I own has it.

How much of a load do you carry normally? A laptop, books, camera? I've just had a bad time with messengers that load weight on one shoulder. As a note I typically carry a Full frame mirrorless camera and two prime lenses (or another zoom lens if it's for work), as well as a Surface Pro 6 Tablet and 30oz flask. Running around with it for a day will leave me sore for a week. Fixed it by getting a backpack.
There was a time when I was maxing out with two laptops (Thinkpad 14", MBP 13") in the (detachable) vertical pockets, a Canon 5D mkII, a single 24-70mm lens, and some misc items.
Handle straps are long enough that you can swing the bag to your backside and keep it there, rather than hold it to your side like you would a typical tote. To fix in this position, you can undo one end of the stabilizer strap and loop around the handles and buckle (E demonstrates this in a release video). OR you can lengthen the stabilizer strap in it's 'stationary' location to match the length of the handles, flip the bag on its side and use as a backpack. Of course, not a true replacement for a backpack, but it functions as one when I need it to.

I looked up what the 3A-9TS looks like and YIKES does that look awful to actually carry loads. When is E going to release the backpack shown in the GTKP photoshoots? At least with the 5/6TS you can use the stabilizer as a backpack strap. The whole ACR "no compromise design" is really compromising on real comfort at least when it comes to the bigger bag lineup...
Naw, 9TS is my favorite acrnm bag I've ever owned. I'd easily re-up if ever released again. Versatility and practicality is unparalleled.

Have the prices even changed? They look to be the same as the previous couple releases.
