The first CH wasn’t the micro twill we’re seeing today it was a schoeller 3xdry cotton (which I wouldn’t compare to DS either). Old CH was 93% cotton and 7% elastane vs new 54% mac 43% cotton and 3% el.

DS piling is for sure a thing.

this price isn't bad and the bag could be cleaned up easily I'd imagine (just dirty under the flap and the vinyl which bagjack would replace). pics would probably help. anyway there's been a few that changed hands recently to base the price on- this one that sold for $1500, the one I replaced it with for $1750 and the other one b lee sold to the photographer dude for $2300. all sales were with no mods.

It’s definitely got a sheen to it. There was a pic of him standing next to Melody and his being well broken in it was much less apparent. I’ll see if I can find it and will post.

I got mine when they dropped at the end of April and wore it quite a bit before the heatwave hit. Not nearly enough to see the fabric start to break in though. Will say that the fabric is very light and breathable. Had no problems wearing it in 70-80f weather.

Not really the same thing. That’s the fault of the backer and not much can be done to prevent it. In his case (and many more these past couple seasons it seems) there are things that just shouldn’t have gotten passed the QA process.
