With the SExFHxRJB jeans can I get away with taking those true to size and only doing a cold soak?  The price is a steal and they would fit me out of the box.

Hope the grand opening went well, I hope to one day make a pilgrimage to your coast. The RDC contest was also killer the whole way through.

Even jeans at a lighter weight can cause some pain or discomfort if they are rigid enough.

I have a problem with the rise in all my jeans after having worn my Iron Hearts I like a full rise so that it is above my butt.

You guys are getting me all excited. My 5109's should be hemmed and on their way to me by Wednesday. I can't wait (even though I won't be wearing them much until the HWDC2 is over).

I am in the same boat with HWDC2.  But WDC is coming up right after and with only ~5 months left and no new jeans to participate with I figured it what the hell.

I tried both and they are similar but the 5XXX wins out for dragon ass, it also seems to have a darker hue than SExI14

I want to send my thanks for the sizing advice I got while at SENY on the SG 5109 I got to put them on today and they were spot on!

Giant bump

i sized up one, the 28 was the worlds most perfect fit when I tried it on.  I just put on my 29's after a hot soak and they fit almost identical to the size 28 now. The cuffs look weird because I don't want to stain my new white shoes with the indigo.

I also picked up some 5109's at SENY this weekend, I didn't even intend to buy them but the texture and fit was beyond me to pass up.  Super excited to try them on, they are drying in my room right now.  I picked up size 29 with some help from Thomas.

Cander always gets me thinking about doing some DIY or some kind of home project. 

This weekend I can finally step foot in Self Edge NY.

I am SO happy to see someone else in the BOM007, I am just breaking mine out now for the season.  How do you like yours?

That blog Indigoproof is Rain from Self Edge's Darn-it if I am not mistaken.  That lady does some of the best repair jobs I have seen in my life.

I officially have a back pocket rivet exposed it feels good to finally have measurable damage done to these jeans.

for the winter flannels from both Iron Heart and The Flat Head; are they pretty similar in terms of overall warmth, or is one  going to be considerably warmer than the other? are they relatively the same thickness as well?

i was planning on picking up a flannel next week while I was in NY, this question is relevant to me as well.

sorry to beat a dead horse but didnt N&F use machines meant to work on carpets and the like in order to construct those jeans. I can sympathize with the idea that altering jeans isn't up my alley, i also dont alter or substitute food when i order from a restaurant
