You and me both haha. I tried at least haha, but just not meant to be, and the rise is just way too low for the other cuts.

And it seems yours were more tapered them mine @1fookntitefd wish I had your pair haha but still too slim.

Haha i feel you. As it is these are going to be my office jeans. I’ll wear them with dress shoes and rock them maybe 1-2x a week. My RJBs are still my main pair.

  2. So I got my pair of 710s in the mail today from Pants Shop Ave (great service btw, I paid on Wednesday and got my jeans on Monday).

Here are the measurements for a tag size 38 x33 one wash:

    waist 35.5

    front rise: 11.25

    Back rise 15

    thigh 13

    knee 8.75

    inseam 30

    hem 8

this is the first pair of one wash denim I bought. I havent decided if i like them that much yet but will still keep... Ideally this pair would be about .25 inches wider throughout the leg and maybe half an inch ahorter in the hem but hoping they will stretch a bit. In terms of fit, these jeans remind me of Flathead 3002 But with a higher rise. At any rate I’m planning on making this pair my frequent wash jeans.

I went with my normal size of 34.

My pair is one wash, and I have warm machine washed them and have ran them in the dryer on low heat.
No shrinkage what so ever. Just the typical tightening up but that relaxes shortly after wearing them.

So TTS is the way to go? Does it make a difference if I buy one wash vs raw? I want to pull the trigger on a pair of 710s but am hesitant to buy a pair i never tried on before so want to be sure..

  4. ^ thanks. I e-mailed Frans Boone.

On another note, Naoki from Pants Shop Ave got back to me with measurements on a pair in 38 x 34:

    Waist - 90cm

    thigh- 34 cm

    knee - 22 cm

Surprised that the thigh measurements came out that wide...

  5. Anyone know where I can buy a pair of Resolute?

I e-mailed Zabou but they said that they aren't shipping to the US right now. BIG is out of stock. Brogue doesn't have a size 38. Still waiting to hear back from Sapporo Base but have otherwise hit a dead end...

  6. ok serious question guys. What's the point of having so many jeans that you don't have the time to even wear? I would think rotating between more than 3-4 pairs at any given point in time is "too much" since you probably won't see fades start coming in until after months/years of wear. I'm always tempted to buy more jeans myself (I'm eyeing a pair of resolutes, warehouse, and also another pair of Evisus) but can't justify it knowing that if I have denim ADD I won't be able to properly wear my existing stock.

  7. Bought a brand new pair of TFH 1002. Same tag size as my 3 year old 3002. The presoak measurements are virtually the same so uts going to be interesting to see how the post soak measurements compare

    Resolute 710 w38x34

    one wash measurements

Waist - 18inches across rear of waist band

    Front Rise - 11inches

    Back Rise - 15.5inches

    Inseam - 31.5inches

    Leg Opening - 7.75inches

Pretty perfect for myself.  So much more comfortable in the thigh than my w36 pair.  Waist not that much different but reckon it will stretch a bit.
Hard to believe I have had these in w34, 36 and now 38 and all have fitted.  This pair is obviously the most comfortable.

Do you have thigh and knee measurements?
