  1. Question on Resolute Jeans:

I have a pair of 710 which are tag size 38x33. The knee measurement is about 8.6 inches (using BIG style measurement).

Blue in Green said that they have a pair of 710 which are tag size 38x32 with knee measurement of 9 inches.

Is there really that much of a variance in sizing/silhouette between the same tag sizing? It's just hard to believe.

    Waist 93 cm

    Front rise 28 cm

    Back rise 41 cm

    Thigh 34 cm

    Knee 24.4 cm

    Leg opening 21.6 cm

I do not know initial inseam measurement, jeans were hemmed before shipping accordingly to requested length.

Are these fully shrunk? Asking because every pair of flathead i owned shrunk about 2 inches from tag size…

  3. Anyone have any size charts for the 1001 that they can point me to?  Trying to think about how I would potentially size these. I’ma 38 in the pioneer denim so dont know if i would be a 38 again or go tts 36

Are these redline selvedge or tiger? Also, button fly or zip fly? Where did you measure the knee? 13 inches down from crotch?

Hey peeps. I’m looking for a pair of 800xx’s for my next project and looking for some guidance. Located in the US so would purchase from either Self Edge or Standard and Strange. I was wondering why there was such a price difference. (50$ more at self edge) As far as I can tell, the Self Edge pair just has a longer Inseam but are exactly the same besides that. Is there something I’m missing here?

The sizing is also kind of all over the place. I’m typically a 34 in Roys and iron hearts, and a 36 in ooe’s and flatheads. According to some measurements I find the 36 in 800xx would be fine, but if I go by Self Edge’s measurements I would need possibly a 38, or a 40, which seems crazy. Anyone have any size comparisons to other brands?

     Cheers.

I’m a 36 in strike gold and ironheart and went with a 36 with the warehouse 800. The waistline was a little tight at the beginning but it stretched out within a week and I love the fit. I tried a size 38 and the waistline fit better out of the gate but the rest of the fit was too baggy for my taste.

    I have the 711s and the 710s both in a 38 I’m a 36 in most Japanese made jeans even 34 in freewheelers 51s

Thanks for the reference point... do you have measurements for the 711 you can share?

Hey, thanks for the reply! I see your point, and it is the approach I took with my 3005’s. What a more refined question on my part would be: if I intend to only cold wash them, will they continue to shrink, or was the initial cold soak of 30 mins sufficient to get the shrinkage likely to occur with subsequent cold washes? I’ll heed your logic and cold wash em tomorrow and see. Thanks again!

I have this exact same pair of jeans and will tell you that they will continue to keep shrinking after 2-3 machine washes before they are fully shrunk.

All stores are getting new runs of wallets, rings, and engineer boots tomorrow actually.  New shirts start landing at all stores in 2 weeks, we've got flannels, indigo-dyed linen shirts, and more.  Assuming most of this stuff will sell out extremely fast in case you really want something from their new collection.

Any new jeans or restocks? Itching for another pair of Flathead jeans...

  9. I don’t think its that the no1 denim shrank 6 inches rather it was never a size 42 to begin with. Evisu’s measurements are all over the place. I had a tag size 38 in no.1 denim and it only shrunk 2 inches even after i put them through the dryer multiple times.

Wow these are really nice! Do you have measurements for the 2005 that you can share?

Well I just gone for the w42 theory I’ve pulled the tigger on them I hope it works

As you know the measurements on the evisu site and on denimio are notoriously off so post measurements when they arrive and hope they work out for you.

I’ve been looking at those I had SuToCorp get me something from the Japanese site the jeans was all 33% off he did nothing for a few days and the prices went back up I’m gutted I really fancy a pair anyone had experience with the ones I’ve mentioned in the previous post?

I had a size 38 2000 in no.1 denim and thought that the fit was way too baggy (see a few pages back for a fit pick) for me so got them tapered and ended up ruining them. Evisu sizing is weird though. The 2000 cut looks good in smaller sizes but was just way too big for me. I’m tempted to buy a 2005 but i have way too many jeans right now and have others that i want to add to my list. Curious why they don’t make the 2005 cut in no.1 denim does anyone know why?

  13. 2 years. I lost count of the washes at this point. I’ve been washing these every 2-3 weeks now because the waistband stretches so easily. This is a tag size 36 but the waistband easily stretches to 39 inches after a few wears which is way too big so I run them though the washer to bring the size back down to a 36.
