  1. Any good stores still in Brisbane?

Last I heard Apartment was on the verge of closing done, which is quite a shame, easily my favorite store in the city - wish they'd pick up WTAPS since they already carry Neighborhood.

  2. nope, never seen junya vandals around either tbh. but yeah, nice. would probably wear nike vandals over raf vandals, maybe???

remember trying on a white pair with red swoosh before. nice, but store had no stock of my size anymore. sad.

Who wouldn't take Nike over Raf any day? I'll take a company that constantly innovates and is on the cusp of technological advancements with each product than some dude pushing Made in Portugal velcros from 6 seasons ago with chains and other rubbish. Who is Raf even pandering to at this point?

  3. mm alright. to my knowledge second sole unit is the og one or something? or like it came first but i could be wrong >_>

seismics... dunno. hard to find from what scanning i've done. check the usual places? i'll hit you up on the usual channels if i find any auctions and such >_>

been wanting vandals for a minute now; waiting for nylon ones to pop up in decent color (og white/black v ideal)

apparently there were junya vandals too

The Junya Vandals are quite cool, though I've never see them pop up on Yahoo! Japan or any place similar; perhaps just because I'm terrible at searching.

I'd still rather have Junya x Trickers though...

  4. This thread makes me glad to be on superfuture. Anyway, I listened to this amazing compilation a while ago, seems like something that would be in place here. I hadn't heard anything by Destroy All Monsters before this, but this 3 disc set (put out on Thurston Moore's record label)seems to me like a great summary of a absolutely crazy band that was really ahead of their time. I mean, noise rock like this, that predates Les Rallizes Denudes? Fragments of Drone, Free Improvisation, Musique Concrete, and even pure Harsh Noise? Yes Please! Definitely a must check-out for fans of experimental music

  5. Something from London-Brown? Tassel loafers, penny loafers, and the suede variety. If they ship outside of Thailand maybe they would be worth a gander.

I actually visited the London Brown store today, their stuff seemed very nice, I might go back to inquire how long the wait for a custom brogue would be

  6. I'm still in Bangkok, and I came upon this great new store that opened up recently called Next to Normal.

The picture shows some of the brands they carried - I was especially impressed to see Thom Browne, Common Projects, Margiela, Undercover and McNairy all under the same roof.

Definitely a cool store, I have a feeling I'll be visiting it frequently

  7. "No, that would not be a problem. When people say their feet smell, I tell them there is something wrong with their shoes" - Hiroki Nakamura, when asked whether his feet start sweating when he wears shoes without socks
