  1. Aren't the sleeves supposed to be somewhat loose fitting and long, more like a sweater than anything else? I like the look of the sleeves as is personally,

But yeah, he should definitely wear it with jeans instead of the sweats, or just like they style it in the lookbook, with slim (Cropped? tucked?) wool pants. Maybe swap out the shoes as well

  2. obviously not in the same vein, but whatever

eg trickers.  my pair has a commando sole and ends up being a little too brash.

I've always loved these, shame they've never popped up on my size on Yahoo!Japan

The Nepenthes x Trickers mismatched ones are cool as well, though I've only seen those in larger sizes as well.

  3. Next to Normal in Central World started carrying Sophnet and Uniform Experiment, and Sacai as well, though they've dropped a few brands (namely Silent Damir Doma). Place seems to be doing well, and they're currently having a sale.

Outcast store moved, they're now in the same part of Siam Square as Take 5, since Siam Vintage is currently under repair. They got a whole bunch of boring streetwear like KTZ and stuff now.

Found a great vintage store in Siam Square, they had a bunch of APC and Acne denim, and actually some older Helmut Lang and Comme de Garçons stuff. Picked up a pair of Raf Velcros. Really eclectic mix of brands, everything from Gap and LL Bean to Helmut Lang. And they carried new streetwear stuff like Grind London and Demarcolab. Really cool store, not sure of the name, but again, it's in the same part of Siam Square as Take 5.

  4. this season's Junya blazers are so much nicer IMO

tried one on and it was just amazing

I get a lot of wear out of my Junya seersucker blazer, but I think any blazer from most of his AW collections would be far too heavy to wear in the tropics - when I was at the CdG flagship I didn't even bother to try on any of the coats, nice as the might be.

Still a fantastic collection though, I really like the Denim shirt, I'll certainly get it if I come across it at another Junya retailer

  5. I'm not saying V hiking shoes were first... I didn't state anything of that sort. They are based/ inspired by a shoe with very long history and rich tradition. I'm just saying they are the best looking ones offered nowadays. Also the precision with which they've been created and materials that have been used are the best. I did my research some time ago and the only ones that were (in my opinion of course) as great as Moncler V's were the old ones- 30, 40 years old.

I've never actually tried on the V hiking shoes in real life, but I certainly don't doubt that Limmer could give them a run for their money. If only there wasn't an insane multi-year waitlist on custom models, they're literally the perfect hiking shoe

  6. Losing an auction on Yahoo!Japan within the last 4 minute when you'd been the only one who'd bid up until then

That being said, it was kind of my fault, I was browsing other auctions at the same time. The pitfalls of greed
