The part about asking about brands was the part I found ridiculous, just by what it is based on. It was some dude from Calgary he was pretty much calling out. But agree with Ben, just trys to hard.
Also dwilson I wouldn't have an opiniom on rgt if I didn't go on instagram. But it's so stupid there is a group of people that all dress the exact same, all wear the same boots, all like photography, all like abandoned areas, and all pose the exact same. It's seriously retarded.
I completely agree with what you said about the dude in the video and the cult of RGT on insta, that being said making light of mental disability is where i disagree. I work with people with cognitive disabilities and it's disrespectful. Not trying to be a PC bro, simply stating that something can be "silly", "lame", stupid even rather than retarded which just further stigmatizes people with mental illness or disabilities.
Anyways all love to the SuFu fam happy holidays and all

I read the term "grail" metaphorically. It is the ideal aesthetic state that we all strive for in a pair of jeans, perhaps in all things. We long to "own" part of that perfectness, that intangible plutonic object disappearing into the horizon the moment it brushes our imagination. The material manifestation of life's bliss that is a beautifully beat up pair of cotton jawnz, encapsulates the ethos of the human condition; change. But to some, at least in my case it is the pursuit of that "ideal" and the evolving paradigm of "sick fades" that stoke the fires of my obsession. Grail jeans are much like the human experience a complex and dynamic thing...
Hahahhah no but in all seriousness I retire my jeans once they are no longer wearable, like beat down to the ground. Dead.
But I honestly like your mode of thought Ben..
Justifies me blowing my hard earned money of several pairs.

anyone can help me out on buzz rickson‘s measurements?
i am a 38 chest and the shortest i do is 26 inches
Chest wise you would be a 38 or a small, Buzz run short since they are modeled after vintage sweats. The fabric isn't loop wheeled cotton though if that matters to you at all. You might get mininal shrink in wash+tumble dry, but in my experience it is purely cosmetic and will just revert to pre-wash measurements after one or two wears. I would got Medium if the length is a real issue honestly. It is a raglan type sweat it will be kinda bulky no matter what.
That being said anyone own the WH crew-necks. Tempted to cop one...

YOW! Those are perfect! Samurai denim is insanely nice, I was really impressed with a really worn pair i felt waiting to be repaired at self edge.
Thanks man! Yeah I might bring them into SESF and heave them fix'm up for me for the new year. The 21oz denim is surprisingly forgiving. Still with my 3012 on the way, these PR beaters I probably wont wear them as much as I would like.
Also I've been eyeing your grail so you a Laxlife bought to get some PM's after the holidays.

Judging by the measurements I would say same cut, maybe diff. fabric. I believe the 900 uses a diff. denim than the Burgus collab. One of the two uses the 1000X banner type denim and the other a different denim all together from what I've read. Please correct me if I am wrong. The 900 looks very promising def. going to save some room in my closet for a pair down the road. But I have a pair of 3012 coming in that I have to wear in properly, and I just bought a pair of the Paul Rose slims that I will be wearing to work and while doing projects.

I'm short, stocky and have small feet, leg opening too wide for my build :/. I'm every women's dream basically ahahah

those okies are sweet Max, wish the cut worked for me. @Drew I have that exact jacket going on its second year of wear, love it so much. Have had a few GFs try and steal it from me ahaha. Thing's my go-to when it's not raining.
Here it as at the beach a while back

I don’t really get the point. You say they wanted to use this contest as a PR-campaign, yet you say Denimio didn’t want others to see the contest/fades/results. This doesn’t really add up to me…when I am doing a PR-campaign I want to raise the awareness of the masses and make the information easily available to “everyoneâ€.
Then again, Denimio is pretty active on Instagram and maybe there target audience is just different to those old guys like me
But for a contest with 200+ contestants it didn’t really make waves and I only happen to see the winner on
Denimio’s IG.
Edit: but maybe I am too centered on Sufu as “the main denim forumâ€
On other news, next year Samurai is releasing a new cut. The S0511XX. From the sounds of it, it looks like a tapered cut with a normal rise. Sounds a bit like 710 to me but we will see. Will be available in 15oz Texas Cotton denim.
Anything besides Sufu is just tryin

Here is a post soak fit pic, not the best quality picture so apologies in advance.
The fit on these feels very much like the Momo 701 (tight straight) with slightly more taper down the knee. The rise is so freaking low these tag size 30 barely make it to 9.2".
That being said I kinda dig them.

damn it

Just got mine today, soaking them and hanging them up to dry over night. Fit is pretty spot on, save the rise which is horrible

That's a proper fit Max

PBJ makes something to that end @max but they always run slim which kinda bugs me honestly. PBJ top block supper tight and low rise while the leg and knee are relatively wide.
