Yeah, looking for a high rise most men cuts are a medium to low rise with the leg opening we are looking for. Thanks for the input though

I can try to find some of the 3002 fit pics but I sold them so I don't have them anymore, and I'll try and snag some pictures of the 3009 when they are back from being repaired when ever that is.
As for details I had their RBJ collabo pair had these weird faux sued back pockets that I was not privy to.

Everything is measured raw. The 14oz on these is pretty sweet, very pleased and surprised with the texture and hand of this denim. at two weeks of hard wear they are starting to show some electric blue fading

Suggestion for high rise, generous hip pair selve. pair. With a small tapper that isn't for rail thin women?
Thanks in advance.

I too would like to know more about the 3002. Seems to be the slimmest (not anywhere near skinny though) of the 3xxx range, after the 3009.
Having owned both jeans, yes the 3002 is slimmer in the thigh but the taper and hem are about the same. The rise on the 3002 is what I would call low to mid. The 710 is more of a true mid rise, the Sam. denim at least the zero series, shrinks less aggressively than the FH 3xxx (pioneer) 14.5. Like I said I really liked the cut of the 3002 but the details weren't there for the pair I had grabbed. Also with the 3002 I would suggest sizing up, I wear a 29 or 30 in most Japanese jeans and sized a 31 for a comfortable fit in my 3002s. I wear a 29 in the 3012, a 30 in the 3009 and a 30 in the 17oz 710 if that helps at all.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Do you have any experience with the 3002? Also, what is the pioneer/exceed series?
Also, what would you say makes TFH so good?
Have to add the 3002 also. Basically FH version of Samurais 710 fit in my opinion or Levis' 522 fit. Slim tapper, slim thigh medium rise, tapered leg. Had a pair a while back but didn't like the RBJ details on my pair, they offer it in there regular pioneer series I believe.
Sent my 3012 to get hemmed so I will post fit pics after they come back and I give them an agitated soak.

I'd love if that were the denim, but I think that's the first big bro denim, which is pretty different from this one.
This new denim looks way darker, maybe that's just me. Also never cared much for cone denim honestly, but these Roys look great

those back pockets are ugly. Also I'm guilty of it too but can we stop using the major discussion threads as the market thread.. just saying.
That being said I'm loving this Pioneer denim.

No clothes related stuff for me, But I ended up booking a trip to Japan in April. It'll be my third time but my friends first. I can speak a bit of Japanese and can navigate around easily so I am pretty much required to take all my friends at some point, which is fine by me! Flights were super cheap and going to try airbnb to hang out with some locals. Nothing really planned as of yet except for going to a few denim shops. Should be fun!
I am also in the process of applying to graduate school for Biology (specifically marine sciences). I've been out of school for a bit working, but finally realize it's time to go back. It's been a massive pain in the ass, and applications are due soon but I have most of it done. Just every school requires something different and it's hard to keep track of everything. But I am close to being done!
Also, to kind of switch gear, has anyone ever had their jeans lengthened? My Samurai's are just a bit too short and while I thought I could live with it, it's starting to bother me . I currently have them cuffed about 0.75" and if I undid the cuff, cut the chainstitch and then sewed on like another inch they'd be perfect (I need a cuff, I just can't wear them without one). I was thinking of just taking them to a tailor having them sew on the inch, and then cuffing right at where they sewed on the new part. Any advice? Sadly, Railcar said they couldn't/wouldn't do it.
Want to learn japanese really bad I know four languages but Japanese is so hard!

Personal: finally Clean and jerk 115kg, I keep missing that effing weight. Start on my back piece, and finish my under-grad.
Clothing wise, destroy these Paul Rose and get started on my 3012's maybe buy a pair of WH 900s or 800 if I can find a 29 raw.

Anyone have insight on sizing for 3002? I'm a true 31. Have the f310 since 09 that i've sized base on my thighs and wear a size 32, waist is loose but i wear a belt. Looks like the 3002 is little bigger in the thighs, while being a little tighter in the wast which i don't mind. Should i go TTS at 31 or size up one to a 32 again? Wondering what others have done.
thx.
Size up to a 32, they run small. The denim will shrink a ton after first wash too. 3002 is a good cut, too bad the RGT cult has caught a wif of it.
