  1. dude, my chest measures 35" and if I were to wear Flathead tops in size 36 they would fit skin tight ( i wear 38 in flat head tops). In US brands im mostly size XS or 36. Take care, the Buzz sweats run small, a medium fits me perfectly

36 FH tops fit me fitted. I can layer with a 38. I'm also super short (5.3" on a good day) so my issue is really with sleeve length, since tailoring these shirts kinda takes away from it a bit. (I think anyways) But I digress, thanks for the in put I mostly wear xs and or a 36 in US brands. Im going to give the Buzz a shot since SESF carries them locally and the price isn't too bad.

    Cheers

  2. Debating between the Strike Gold Loop Wheeled crew neck (or hoodie in black), Buzz Rickson crew and or Fullcount in either Grey or a black. I need a Small and from what I understand SE does not carry Buzz in a small, do they just not make them or can I find them somewhere else? Also it looks like they are out of the SG in black so may wait until Nov. to pick it up. I've had a chance to try the Loop wheeled hoodie in person at the SE in Sf, and it fit great with a wash should be perfect. Didn't get a chance to try on the crew, but if it fits anything like its hooded counter part I'm sold. From what I've read the SG is woven tighter than any of the other offerings which sounds really noice, and practical, since I bike everywhere and the less layers (articles of clothing) I have on my body the better.

So I guess my question (s) is (are) if any one on here has experience with two or more of the brands mentioned. As in has owned both or some, or has handled both extensively.

Which is the softest in terms of hand? Which fades nicely (best)? i.e. does not turn that weird dead whale texture right away. Which would you suggest for a small guy that wears xs (AA, Alternative, Norse, Our Leg etc.) in most other brands, 36 in jackets and some shirts? And finally which would, in your honest opinion, offer the most bang for the buck? I usually wear a 36 in most Flat head tops if that helps at all. (except their heavy western Flannel which I wear a 38 in)

    Thanks in advance!

    My Measurements:

    Chest: 36

    Shoulder: 16.2

    Arms: 21.5

    length: 23

    waist: 28 (hips 29.5)

  3. Thought I would contribute to the thread.

    - NF Navajo shirt in bieg, NF Circular Knit (Navy) T & NFx Blue Owl WS red Chinos. Chinos are a lot darker and have shrunken a bit after their first wash. Shirt is an XS kinda want to trade for a SM if anyone is interested. Pictures are not the best quality, but tis all I got.

    Cheers

  4. Knee bulge happens with all my jeans. Even my momotaro collabs which weren't supposed to stretch but did. It honestly doesn't look that stupid. Just wear them.

Did you have the skinny or the second colab?

My flatheads of a year were just fine, my jb0101 of 2 months also have some knee baggage, but are not nearly as atrocious as the e2's. I understand it's a natural thing, but they just look stupid at this point. I may just wear them on days I wrench on my buddies car and stuff. Needless to say the NF 22oz denim stretched a lot more than I originally anticipated.

  5. people with e2: how is the sizing once the denim breaks in? does the heavy weight stretch at all? i am considering some e2 or ub 21oz and wonder how to size . . .

I wear a 28 in the e2's mine stretched about an inch in the waist and .5 in the thigh. I have serious knee bags from just wearing them for 2.5 months so I stopped wearing them. Gave them two soaks since I dropped whisky and chocolate on them.

  6. Sorry to derail the thread but...

If I wanted to taper my S5000vx slightly from the knee down and wanted to preserve the chain stitch that holds the inseam together. What would be the best way of going about it, like what are my options in terms of places that offer jean alterations that have the equipment to keep my Jawnz integrity? Online services is preferred, but if anyone knows of a shop in the Sonoma (CA) area that would be the tits.

    TIA

  7. Is it still possible to cop one of the Strike Gold loop wheeled hoodies in black size. Sm anywhere (used or otherwise)? Tried SE, but they are sold out and not sure when they will be restocking. Maybe someone can help me out? TIA

  8. X post from SF

This is kinda random but, I have some questions about women's NF denim. A friend of mine is having a hard time finding decent denim that isn't your average cut of the mill designer department store stuff.

She's super tinny 5.3" maybe 100lb but I doubt it, wears a size 24. with a 25" at where the jeans sit at her hips.

Just wanted to know if female posters on here or otherwise could shed some light on either the Skinny Girl, Leggy or what NF calls the Supper Skinny girl, which I could not find on Tate and Yoko site. Also anyone know where I can maybe buy these locally in the SF CA area that would carry sizes 23-24?

Thanks in advance may also send the Alex at Tate and Yoko and the guys at NF an email too

  9. ^crazy, how the hell did you get electric blue fading going on jb's? especially so soon..

Not really sure haha! I wear them everyday whenever I can, except maybe on the weekends since I work. My schedule is usually 8-3:30pm at school monday-thurs and fridays I have a museum gig that I work at, and they see a lot of wear there too. I recently got rid of my car and ride my bike everywhere, as a result of that, which may help fading. Nothing really out of the ordinary, although I took them hiking once, but it was cold so it was totally practical.

Hope that gives you an idea.

  10. Warning heavy picture post, apologies in advance.

So I ended up trading my S5000vx 24oz. in a 29 for a 21oz. in a size 28. since I sized up too much originally. Not 100% on them yet looking to get some feed back. Here are a few fit pics, will try to get some decent quality ones, once I muster up the courage to ask my roommate to take some of me haha. These are them after about in hour in hot/warm bathtub.
