and if i am not using the jacket for any serious hiking, is there much different between gore-tex and gore-tex paclite?

no idea about the gore-tex but the black one straight up

not even sure why you're on the fence about it. been thinking these are pretty awesome.

  2. that photo reminds me of this "activity" a friend of mine told me about. big group of people, you get assigned a partner (kept secret from them) and then you walk into a thrift store and buy them a full outfit. everyone goes out to dinner. ever since hearing about it i've thought about how fun it sounds to just buy some crazy stupid shit for whoever you're assigned. forget about jawnz for one evening.

  3. don't give a fuck about the socks. product shots underwhelmed me at first, got some hella cowboy vibes that i wasn't liking at all first

but the lookbook managed to change my mind entirely. seeing everything worn and put together was really well done. workwear whatnots meets fashunz. really good.

  4. Just finished Blassreiter and it was really good. surprised me a boatload. problems don't arise till the very end and the whole "Jesus saves/God's Will" shit gets shoved in your pants and pinches your nuts.

oh? i'd started it but just fell off... somehow i couldn't keep my interest going although the designs for the blassreiters were particularly impressive to me. another one i'd started and never finished was linebarrels of iron. good mecha designs but i just got lazy.

edit: about to start reading "i am a hero"

heard it's absolutely terrifying and this is coming from a friend who enjoys reading junji ito. interest has been piqued.

these pages caught me off guard too haha

  5. just watch a few episodes at a time if you're that intimidated by the size of the series. it's funny that my friends who are into anime are also putting it off due to the number of episodes, and yet they all have the time to keep up with every new generic fighting shounen that comes out

but i don't bother with generic fighting shounen either! o_o Currently reading Sidonia No Kishi-- was waiting for new chapters for... a year or two

iz on mangafox, probably other places too for those interested

  6. from the shots those herno pieces look fantastic.

going back on the tech footwear thinking of a pair of nike air max 90 id hyperfuse in near all black with some dark grey.....

yeah, i was thinking all black AM90 ids with an all-white sole and white lining

    but never went anywhere

  7. good friend of mine's been saying I need to watch LOGH but the large amount of episodes needs I need to find a good timeframe to do so.

Currently watching AnoHana (aka Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wa Mada Shiranai [holy god that name]) and enjoying every minute of its intense sentimentality.

probably been discussed on the net, but hows the quality difference between revoltech and robot damashii.

Dunno how they stack up in RL but it seems like RD has better details?? at least from online pictures

to my knowledge most people just look at them as separate entities. revoltechs always have the crazy dynamics Yamaguchi likes to sculpt into all his things whereas the damashiis are more faithful/realistic representations of their designs or something.

i collect random odds and ends from time to time. the occasional bandai kit or whatever attracts my attention. mostly mecha though.

  9. I prefer jazz fusion to straight jazz; my most recent purchase from that particular genre was Billy Cobham's Spectrum. It's a belter.

    I like Spectrum. Good album.

anyone try listening to christian scott? he's got a great cover of Thom Yorke's Eraser and his original material is good too
