it might not be quote legally binding but ED contracts are a fucking hassle to break. and apparently it reflects super poorly on your school if they're broken (if you care about that at all). college admissions have a lot of wrath tbh. i had a friend a few years back who broke an ED contract with princeton via questbridge (a low income scholarship program). he instead elected to go to stanford, and princeton admissions got pissed and contacted his school, making it expressly clear that their students would have to show "immense interest" if they wanted to get into princeton from now on (as if they had great chances to begin with). as in no one else from that school is getting into princeton. basically the exact same thing happened this year with another kid i know who chose to go to MIT rather than williams, which he was bound to. williams made a pretty signficant deal of it also. so yeah, you can back out, but there's pretty serious repercussions for those around you

you design these? these are pretty cool. but id's are tricky like that-----you gotta be super creative for them to work. whenever i try i always end up emulating a colorway that's already been released, cant bring myself to take any risks

i'll come out and say i kinda like the shirt around waist thing, but that its definitely an associative thing. as in it might work in an otherwise minimal fit with like a perfecto, dark jeans et al., or in one of those crazy tonal japanese ultra-layered fits, but it simply looks out of place in something like a workwear fit. maybe im just super picky/reading too far into it, but i definitely feel like there are some contexts where it works and some where it does not

smalls had always been around, but in-store only for the most part. but yeah what readytoignite said, iirc the adam kimmel collabs, cdg collabs, and the pcl stuff were all available online in small. also japan website has carried smalls for a long time

but yeah, button-ups too. i only grabbed the anarchy tee but on the whole i thought this drop was legit

i've also become sort of disillusioned with the idea of grails lately, but not for the same reasons nebulae posted. mostly just because it dawned on me that i could never pull them off. for instance these two items were my "grails" for the longest time:

while i guess they remain the most aesthetically pleasing leather jacket and sneakers to me, respectively, at some point i realized i just dont have the proportions for either of the pieces (let alone the $$$). idk, my fave/most worn shirt is still an AA flannel i bought for $1 secondhand three years ago, its been through a ton and sometimes those ultra-cheap purchases just can't be beat
