Before my trip to Amerika I decided to wash my jeans (LA, SF, Vegas and NY let me know if anyone is down for a beer  )

Because I'm going on a trip to the USA in a week I decided to repair my jeans some more because I don't want them to rip while doing activities there:

Reinforced the front rise because my last repair wouldn't last any longer.

Because I didn't have any hwdc2 merch and still wanted to contributa today I thought it was time to capture some pics for the repair challenge:

I think it adds character to try and repair all defects by hand and this is how it looks on my denim.

About 8 months of wear or so.

 

Washed whenever they smelled too bad or were exceptionally dirty. Probably about 3 or 4 times at this point.

 

Kinda dirty and full of paint.

I ordered one of the new jeans in the slim straight cut, can't wait to put them on.

For as far as I know you can order by contacting him on facebook, at least that's how I ordered.

I don't have a hwdc2 tee to wear  but still a really good idea.

Do the new s710og have a hidden arc + stealth arc or just the stealth arcuate? 
Thought I saw someone mentioning hidden arcs but didn't see it elsewhere.

I promised myself to not buy a new pair of jeans during or after HWDC2 but damn my hands are itching 

I think it's horween chromexcel that is used on them, they're the ones with the plaid on them. I'm not planning to treat them in the near future but it's allways good to know what to expect

They closed down was a temporary outlet near tenue de nimes. The price tag in it said €250 but while I was thinking about the price the shop keeper told me they where €140

I was so happy I bought them straight away and didn't think about the other shoes. When I came back a few weeks later to check out the other shoes they where closed.

The leather doesn't have to be treated after some wear?

Careful of what you sell as I did the same and now regret some of my choices. I only wear boots now in poor weather or when temperatures drop, wearing them in summer is just overkill with most of the pairs I own. I've now gotta decent split of boots, trainers and shoes with some top notch models in all formats!

Just around 50 pairs in total now...although trainers make up 60% of the collection.

Yes I will, I still love stuf like footscapes, chukka wovens, a couple of converse and visvim as summer shoes. I'll probably sell the other stuff and buy some nice boots from the profit.

I found a brand new pair of yuketen maine guide boots in an outlet store for €140, anything I need to know about the treatment of these?

Thinking about selling a lot of my sneakers and start buying leather shoes. Only shoes I've been wearing the last couple of months are visvim and redwing so I might as well clear some of my sneakers

He mentioned the standard 5 pocket jeans, but maybe he got the wrong info or something, To bad, kinda liked them

Not sure, but you bought old stock. They've since switched to American denim from cone mills but a lot of people have been trying to seek out the old Japanese stock. Stores carry the American denim, but they were clearing some Japanese out on the online shop for others who might be looking to get some. Can't guarantee you'll get the old stock so YMMV.

 

From what the Tenue de Nimes eployee told me they switch from Japanese to American denim once a few seasons or years, he told me that there will be more RRL jeans with Japanese denim but you just have to be patient. Not a 100% sure though
