  1. anybody else find this acrhive instagram account cringey as fuck? had to unfollow it was getting out of hand.

Yep... lots of bad vibes and ridiculous stuff. Still got a few decent shots. I thought that it might become a nice place for the community on instagram but really it's more a gallery of Asian kids trying to look badass.

    + their constant tags #hypebeast #hypestyle #snobshots

  2. The veilance dealer catalogues are a work of art.

I wish I could get a copy of any Veilance catalogue at all.

Too bad that Arcteryx PR keeps insisting that they don't exist, I ask for them every year. I mean after all that hype I've been spreading here and elswhere it kinda sucks...

  3. I don't know about current season SISP, but past seasons' pants fit large in the waist. I usually wear a 32/48 in most brands, but I have a couple of pairs of SISP pants in 46 and they fit perfect. You may be able to go for a 44 if you can find one.

Thanks! The pants arrived and they are actually still quite large but fine with a belt, so always size down on SISP pants.

Not much of a techwear but I always wanted some moleskin pants and these are superb!

  4. Seriously, what's with the skull neck gaiters? I see it all the time on those badass kids on Instagram.

Are you guys wearing that tacticool operator gear ironically or is it something else?

  5. I need some advice on Stone Island Shadow pant sizing. I'm 30 in Outlier, Levi's etc., but size 46 is sold out, will any other size still fit me?

Also, anyone know where to find SISP moleskin chino in navy size 46?

  6. I don't agree re:locale. Sure, i love the exclusivity of the made in vancouver or made in czech republic tag, but it's not like you can't get quality manufacturing in asia. It's been discussed here before that some more high-tech manufacturing even doesn't exist in the western hemisphere because the demand is too low. The dead bird has no issues cranking out the most high end clothes in vietnam and china, and although there is no super exciting technology going on in the construction of the acg cargo's, 200 bucks is a very reasonable price point for the amount of detailing and quality of construction in these. The only thing you're not getting is super exciting swiss fabric, but then again you're not buying acronym and the pants aren't 800 bucks..

I was only refering to the economics of the Nike production and Akuma's claim that it is underpriced. It's not a comment about quality.

  7. Got my cargos today. IMHO these are seriously underpriced.

For $200? Maybe you've missed the Made in Vietnam tag.

Rest of the collection is definitely overpriced as well, 2in1 shell cost $650 where the most expensive Tilak jacket (superior quality, Gore-Tex Pro, made for K2 climbs) is $400. Nike is cashing hard on you guys.

This one is the best part of the ACG collection.

Can't justify buying the white jacket but love the Metal Gear Solid vibes. The Genome Army!

    ...German-made Acronym piece ...

It is absolutely imperative to know that all Acronym jackets are made in Czech Republic.
