So I've been wearing these since like early june-ish. They haven't been through a whole lot, but this is a super cool fabric.

The fades are less blue in person, but the green is just as colorful. I've got some nice accurate macros of the fabric, if anyone is interested.

Just a quick post, I wanted to let everyone know that ordering was very easy, and the person I was in contact with was helpful with sizing, stock info and pricing. I'll update this post again once my order is here

love the arcs on this one. they suggest mountain but don't actually look like a mountain (cf dry bones's fujiyama arcs), which remind me of something that suggests gulls but don't actually look like gulls.

That's an all around great looking pair of jeans. They came out great!

I find it interesting orange tag Levi's are becoming popular.  Growing up in the 80's they were just the run of the mill Levi jeans and usually what I wore. The red tags were where it was at but normally more expensive.

 

While I certainly wasn't around to experience it, I think orange tab represents an era just as much as big e red tab.

I think I got it, I googled the extended model number and found that they're LVC, or fake thai lvc.

I just took another look at my 517s, and some of the details seem off. Here's some pictures of the patch, tab, rivets, and both sides of the button.  I think that they may be reproductions, because the interior tag lists the Levi's website. At this point I'd just like to know more about what I have here.

I recently found a pair of orange tabs that are similar to those, but the tab has a big e. Denim looks similar to the ones pictured above. Patch says 517, can anyone offer any more information? I can post pictures later if it helps.

Why are momos so cheap here http://www.okayamadenim.com/collections/momotaro-jeans ? Are they any different. They aren't japan blues... Because its direct from Okayama?

 

I think that's because it's not through a US retailer, I could be wrong.

Quite the pairs of jeans I like both the Natural indigo weft and the peach. So much denim so little time.

I've seen pictures of the natural indigo weft (0702AI?) but that's the first I've seen of the peach weft. looks cool.

browsed through half the forum and really want a pair of those 0705SP's!!! Im in Hong Kong so I could try them at Take5.. however they seem to overcharge quite a bit for their goods.. found a better price on rakuten but never ordered anything from them before.. I was thinking of getting tts on the waist.. but rakuten has a hemming service.. any input on whether thats a good idea or not? (im 5'7") Thanks in advance for your help!

Also, found the jeans at need supply co. for a very nice price.. but the patch on those denim that the model is wearing is blank.. anyone have any experiences with them?

The jeans on need supply are a collaboration between momotaro and japan blue, they're not the 0705SP. I do have experience with that fabric, and I can attest to the fact that they are stubborn haha
